BG has some pros on that team.
Early on in the game I was thinking, man they have some big physical guys.
Yes, Penn State defense was sloppy for about half of the time, many missed tackles, but BG looked real good in that game ngl.
That TE and QB for BG have NFL written all over them. All across the CFB landscape, smaller schools are competing with the big schools. Northern Illinois just beat ND. And even Southern Florida was only down 6 points with 5 minutes left before Bama ran up the score to make it look better. You can’t overlook anyone nowadays. So much talent across the country.

Sloppy defensive effort in the first half, along with a good BG offensive game plan. Shut them down in the 2nd half. Definitely a letdown after the big win at WV.

@Kchall5 I can honestly say that Ohio State will no doubt be able to stuff anything Drew Allar tries to throw. That OSU secondary is great this year.
I look forward to the rematch between Iowa and PSU, that will be a more important game to watch for as Iowa is not who they were last season but they will make it tough on PSU offense. Once teams know how to contain the running game, they won't win many more than 10.
Well as a Penn State fan, I can tell you that Notre Dame loss makes me feel better about this 😂

Man after rewatching some of the BG highlights they're QB is a freak. If he isn't a senior I can see him transferring up to a power 4 school and probably a decent one. I know PSU defense was sloppy in the first half but there was a couple throws by that QB where he threaded the needle. I think the fans and team were just overlooking a MAC school. But BG knew they had the talent and experience to give themselves a name and they came in with a game plan and gave Penn State a punch to the mouth

Really impressed with Penn St. TE Tyler Warren. Him and Fannin from BG looked like NFL talents. Also liked what I saw from Allar. Made a bunch of quick, accurate throws, but he needs to shore up his consistancy (Double coverage INT in the end zone).

BG is ranked 94th and Penn State was at home for their opener. Not impressed. Usually, Franklin waits for the big games to stink it up (3-17 against top 10 teams).

The defense looked like they were asleep behind the wheel. No fire either early on. Felt like they were just going through the motions. The WR output today left a lot to be desired. Tyler Warren is great

I was a freshman in 1982 when we won a National Championship, and was a super senior in 1986 when we won again. Penn State will never win a championship again until they hire a world class coach
