In the 1989 mode with Ryoba the story is complete and all the elimination methods are written in a notebook by pressing the enter key in ideas, and they are all completely free that way you will not get lost, also if you eliminate the rivals as Ryoba wants at the end of the week you will get the true ending¹❤😂🎉😊🏙🔪💗
Maybe you should play 1980s mode it might be a little easier too but you play as the mother of the girl that you were playing in this mode and she has 10 rivals girls that she has to eliminate to get the father of the girl you were playing as and if you do decide to play 1980s mode I recommend you eliminate the rivals by their Canon elimination that is hinted at every week on Saturday cuz at the end of the game of 1980s movie you'll be graded on how you eliminated the rivals and how is it hinted to you is there Canon elimination since 1980 mode takes place in the past and that also leads to the true ending of 1980s mode
