Welcome to another Artist Alley vlog! I finally tried and was able to chat more with the camera outside the studio... so much that I ended up with almost 6 hours of footage, eheh.
In this vlog I take you along with me for another convention, this time in Brussels, Belgium! I took part in Made in Asia and I tabling there in the Artist Alley for the March edition. I chat about my experience during the weekend, what went well and what went wrong... A LOT WENT WRONG!!

Sorry to hear about the outcome. I’ve done conventions and craft fairs myself. Sometimes they are a hit and sometimes I barely break even. Hope the next one is a success for you

I always test run a layout for a show and time myself. If I can't do it within half an hour it gets altered. I tended to put one item out as a display one and rest at the back of stall. Obviously do what makes it easier on yourself but I would rethink the quantity on the table if it's multiples.

So sorry for your experience at that con. I've done craft shows. Some are amazing, some are a complete waste of time. Always a learning experience.

Hii, I am from Belgium and do cons as well. I've met you last time at Dutch Comic Con😊 If you come back to Belgium you should really try to get into Facts in Ghent. This one is bigger and way better for most of us artists🤗

Have you ever thought about changing your table setup? You have an engaging personality but no one can see you behind the grid with your merchandise on it. I was always taught that you have to pull them into your booth with engagement so they feel compelled to buy something. Just a thought. Your products are awesome and I have learned so much from watching you and your videos.
Hiii! I’ve been doing markets for a while and this has been working so far, but I’m always trying it out! I have escolioses and I’m very introverted so sometimes I need to be a little hidden away tbh 😂

Hii ! I've been watching your videos for the past year and I've enjoyed all of your videos . I am so sorry that this con didn't come out how you wanted but I feel like you should do cons in the USA even though it will a lot more expensive just because I feel like there is a higher demand of illustrations from small business owners and all of that . And I hope the best for you.
