The driver has been identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar. Funny (as in ironic) that the Mayor of New Orleans said this was a terrorist attack, but the FBI said that this doesn't appear to have been a terrorist attack. I believe now that the mayor was vindicated in her original assessment.
It’s been said to be a terrorist attack. The guy had on military gear, shot at police after crashing into a cherry picker on the street. Said to have an eye-sis flag in the truck he rented. Multiple IEDs are being found around New Orleans. The house he rented caught on fire also. I live in New Orleans… it’s really sad today for all of us.
Anton the last segment hit me hard. i feel blessed but i moved smart. i worked at walmart and target for most of my time in school and they paid off most of my school. im only going to have to pay for my last 6 classes but will be graduation in june with a BS is cyber security and a minor in criminal justice. the smartest thing you can do is work a part time or full time job with a company that pays for your school while you work there. and second is get a minor instead of doing all the electives you get a secondary skill that you can use .. for me cyber security and criminal justice line up together perfectly ... over 1k a month for 10 years with that degree is wild

I think if you don’t achieve a degree in which you took student loans deserves forgiveness. If you don’t work in that degree field or if the degree isn’t STEM, you shouldn’t qualify for loan forgiveness. One of my main reasons for going into the Navy was the GI bill! I achieved my bachelors in business management and owe absolutely NOTHING! I took NO loans!
