Wow, the first place he decides to advertise his game is on the biggest viewing platform of all the Internet: his own forehead, truly the noodle is an s tier marketmen.
Just watched Northernlion play this game. My eyebrows were glued to the screen because the sheer quality convinced me it was AAA quality. And now that I realize it's actually gaming instead of corporation, we are so gaming.
Well I think it's a pretty good idea to make the cards of this expansion lower power level than usual. You saw what happened with Gadgetzan, they printed an ass load of high power cards and look what happened, we were stuck with a shitty meta for the next year.
Damn today I finally reached the diamond merchant rank and thinking back it's really been 3 years since the game released, 5 from this trailer, I feel old now
Best of luck, Reynad. I know this has been in development for a while. I haven't been keeping up to date, but this is the first that I have heard it is a deckbuilding game. Can't wait to try it out, I love games like Dominion and Star Realms.
I really appreciate all of the positive feedback! Be sure to spread the word, we are climbing fairly quickly towards our goal! playthebazaar.com Edit: I'm currently streaming! Come talk to me about The Bazaar! www.twitch.tv/reynad27
I really like how far you've come, how passionate and powerful you are, first you create hearthstone, CEO of tempostorm, branching to different esports AND NOW MAKING YOUR OWN GAME. I admire you
One of the best board/card game campaign pitches I've ever seen. Great job mate! Huge fan of the deckbuilding mechanic and you have me onboard. Good luck with the project!
It’s been 4 years and I see that your making your own game your such a great inspiration I watch you my senior year in high school and now I’m 22 Happy to hear about your journey you have my support
It's definitely using a play model that resembles a "template deck builder" format. The digital aspect they're probably going to try and sell it on will involve card duplication, since physical games have a limit to materials. That, and statuses or gimmicks involving the monsters you kill to "unlock" cards. It's distinct enough not to be plagiarism, so I'm interested to see how it turns out.
I think the cool part is that all 3 of those games are digital adaptations of physical games. A deck builder designed for digital could do different things, similar to how hearthstone does things that physical games can’t.
Fun fact: Mister Kibler codesigned in Ascension To me this seems a lot better than the others (they still mighty fine) because it really looks like you directly fight a player and not do your own shit with little interaction
First game I thought of for deckbuilding is Dominion. The fact that each new game is different than the last is what makes deckbuilding fun. Looking forward to this.
Reynad, this looks like an exciting project! I like the setting of an intergalactic marketplace. It seems full of potential. I'll be following this project closely. Best of luck!
Just stumbled across this. I'm a part of the Tabletop Long Island discord, and I'll be sure to link this video in there. I adore deck builders, and I'm definitely looking forward to Bazaar.
Love deckbuilders. Love online card games. Hate pay to win/only play this game to win. Love this game as a concept. The hype really begun when I read about the merchant, I mean, who doesn't love alternate win conditions? I really wish you and your team the best of luck. Haven't been this hyped in a long time.
Sadly, I honestly hate the art-direction so far. Will support you and nearly anything you do though Noodle. Make SURE the UI and/or art is beautiful, digital card games live or die by the UI and art. Honestly.
I always wanted another card game that uses the capability of electronic support like hearthstone, but without the pay to win (or at least pay to fully customize) part of it. I may not be able to pitch in money just yet, but I will talk about it to my friends and family. I'll keep my eye out for any update on the matter.
Great job, i feel like this is going to be successful due to your time , that you spent on card games and on improving yourself , don't worry of what people say, you have found your destiny so keep moving forward and you will succeed , no matter what!
So one really important thing here is the potential for stories. Not stories like an RPG or telltale game would present to you, but the stories that unfold within a single game itself. I think this is a major reason for the success of games like fortnite and league of legends and I think this game has some serious potential for the same!
Finally a game to switch to from HS. Reynard I really hope the price model will be fair, and it will be f2p friendly, I don't see it competing other way with HS. I will invest. Cheers
I’ve been waiting for this announcement for so long... Also just want to say that you’ve come a long way noodle, from drunk calls with tides, playing pajama sam, to traveling the fucking world. You’re an inspiration to myself and to others I’m sure. Super fortunate to watch you grow and prosper. Much love Audrey, from a long time fan before tempostorm. ❤️
i wish one of the indiegogo perks was a limited edition skin for one of the classes or something like that so people know how cool you are in the future
Haven't followed Hearthstone or (frankly) cared about Reynad for years, but this sounds super hype. Competitive deckbuilder? Designed for online play? YES PLEASE. I'm a huge dominion fan, and deckbuilding is a proven genre, but Reynad really might be on to something by taking it mainstream. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
Cerberus system, Pathfinder Adventures, Space Food Truck, Clank!, Ascension, Dominion, etc. Those are some good deckbuilding games and some of them are on PC. So Im looking forward to yours!
They released a beta finally but it wasn't actually for this game. This video is promising a Dominion style deckbuilder. They released Backpack Battles 2.
Definitely looks pretty cool, though I think announcing this right before Hearthstone and MTG expansions may not have been perfect timing, but that happens.
'Just so you know this game the Bazaar is from a studio that abandoned the last project they worked on which is still on steam- Edge of space, so before you throw your money at these conmen go and see for yourself.
Heard about this from alex myers, seem really interesting actually, haven't played hearthstone in a couple years, but you got me interested. I like how the cards themselves are the resources rather than mana The coolest bit I think is you aren't limited to sticking with the playstyle of the deck you are playing if you understand the opponent is going for some really long set up, you can disrupt that Can't wait to see how this turns out. Best of luck reynad!
I think this could be super fun! I have Millennium Blades and Kanzume Goddess at home, and I am going to buy The Terrifying Girl Disorder in the future. I am definitely on board for supporting this game. Can't wait to see everything that you all make!
Wow, the first place he decides to advertise his game is on the biggest viewing platform of all the Internet: his own forehead, truly the noodle is an s tier marketmen.
Got me good
Priceless BibleThump
I haven't laughed that hard in a while, thank you.
I was scrolling through the comments and after i read this i looked up and saw his forehead advertisement LOL
Nailed it.
First he created hearthstone now he moves on to this game. I can’t wait
created hearthstone? lul
Aaron Eckart's Ego normie LUL
Lol the only card review that count is Reynad
Reynad made hearthstone first.
So Reynad is now on the HS Dev team? I had no idea 😂
Just watched Northernlion play this game. My eyebrows were glued to the screen because the sheer quality convinced me it was AAA quality. And now that I realize it's actually gaming instead of corporation, we are so gaming.
>when blizzard don't give you a dustwood card to reveal and you're like "dass it, mane"
witchwood
Oridan1 dustdust
Well I think it's a pretty good idea to make the cards of this expansion lower power level than usual. You saw what happened with Gadgetzan, they printed an ass load of high power cards and look what happened, we were stuck with a shitty meta for the next year.
KonkeyDong cards arent shit, everyone said the same in kotft
Dustwood is pure dust with very few exceptions. If you preordered, you got cucked.
Is this his witchwood card reveal?
NAXXZAAR OUT PogChamp
Well he made it. It's awesome.
That piñata better be voice acted by the fucking Noodle.
It better do that scream too
I didn't even know reynad could make a noise that loud
Usually it's just a low to mid volume salt shaker shaking sound, with the occasional grumbles of spilling it everywhere.
It went from a Hearthstone clone to an Autobattler. Truely worth the wait.
Damn today I finally reached the diamond merchant rank and thinking back it's really been 3 years since the game released, 5 from this trailer, I feel old now
What u smoking bro?
What in hell is this comment lmao
6 Years later, and this game looks like it's about to be the best imo
Best of luck, Reynad. I know this has been in development for a while.
I haven't been keeping up to date, but this is the first that I have heard it is a deckbuilding game. Can't wait to try it out, I love games like Dominion and Star Realms.
Thanks! If you love Dominion and Star Realms you'll love this game for sure.
So the game has to be great or the noodle can't say things like: "fuck this game" or flame the devs as in HS FeelsGreatMan
ForsenE you underestimate the noodle, he'll flame himself and his game.
I really appreciate all of the positive feedback! Be sure to spread the word, we are climbing fairly quickly towards our goal! playthebazaar.com
Edit: I'm currently streaming! Come talk to me about The Bazaar! www.twitch.tv/reynad27
he checkmated even without moving a chess piece. only reynad is able to do this
I really love the fact that his guitar moves closer and closer during the course of the video
I really like how far you've come, how passionate and powerful you are, first you create hearthstone, CEO of tempostorm, branching to different esports AND NOW MAKING YOUR OWN GAME. I admire you
“The bazaar”? Lol nope. Everyone knows it’s called Noodlestone.
The Brazzars?
Bahah
Be the better compition Reynad, good luck on your venture. You have my full support and you'll have a lot more support going forward.
The voice acting gets me everytime
One of the best board/card game campaign pitches I've ever seen. Great job mate! Huge fan of the deckbuilding mechanic and you have me onboard. Good luck with the project!
I really appreciate the creativity. Good luck with the game Reynad, looking forward to try your game in the future.
I'm so in love with every aspect of this game and can't wait to watch you build it!
It’s been 4 years and I see that your making your own game your such a great inspiration I watch you my senior year in high school and now I’m 22 Happy to hear about your journey you have my support
I’m excited for the noodle game
Wow, an actual original concept and fun looking design. Sign me up boy.
It's actually *extremely* similar to table top game called munchkin.
Ford Prefect lol original. Kids these days don't know shit
It's pretty similar to Slay the Spire and Ascension.
Sounds a lot like Star Realms, Hero Realms and Ascension. Should be interesting
It's definitely using a play model that resembles a "template deck builder" format. The digital aspect they're probably going to try and sell it on will involve card duplication, since physical games have a limit to materials. ChrisCrux don't forget cthulu realms
The guitar moves everytime the camera pans back to him. LUL
That actually seems like an original and fun concept. How utterly refreshing. Best of luck.
Oh my god. This game looks amazing. Deck building games are awesome and you start with every card in the game. Can’t wait :)
Ending with the forehead was the best part. I'm super pumped for this!
First game I thought of for deckbuilding is Dominion. The fact that each new game is different than the last is what makes deckbuilding fun. Looking forward to this.
Looks cool noodle. Good luck on building the game and I'll make sure to check it out.
The forehead at the end killed me. Looks like a cool combination of Dominion and Munchkins.
I wish you the best of luck with this project takes balls to do what you did first with tempo storm and now this
Reynad, this looks like an exciting project!
It sounds like a hardcore old-school card game, good luck and best wishes. :)
How’s that hype train going for you, my man?
Never been more excited for a game. Such a great creator and person. Thank you space noodle.
I guess that is where Trumpo got his videoideas from. No wonder he is the boss.
The art looks great, that's drawing me in the most! I'm sure the game is going to be great! I'm excited
Sadly, I honestly hate the art-direction so far.
Will support you and nearly anything you do though Noodle.
Make SURE the UI and/or art is beautiful, digital card games live or die by the UI and art. Honestly.
You’re a mega douche. “Your game looks like shit, but no matter what you have my support bro!”
What kind of back handed dick head comment is that?
Dylan stanford Is any criticism considered and insult now?
Sounds pretty hype. Looks pretty interesting too, and that piñata better be voiced by you, Reynad :D
I'm totally gonna play your game. Good luck, Raynoodle!
You were ahead of your time, and its awesome to see it heing released.
As someone who loves Ascension and the Cryptonic deck builders...I'm super keen for this
If anyone has the experience and creativity to make a good card game it's you. Can't wait to play it when it's finished.
I always wanted another card game that uses the capability of electronic support like hearthstone, but without the pay to win (or at least pay to fully customize) part of it. I may not be able to pitch in money just yet, but I will talk about it to my friends and family. I'll keep my eye out for any update on the matter.
Basically the real life card games Dominion and Munchkin combined which might be pretty epic!
Brilliant humor as always, will be checking the game out
Great job, i feel like this is going to be successful due to your time , that you spent on card games and on improving yourself , don't worry of what people say, you have found your destiny so keep moving forward and you will succeed , no matter what!
Happy for you Noodle, excited to see this grow
Looks like Munchkin and Dominion combined into one game. Neat!
I love the idea, keep up the good work Reynad, you deserve it bud!
So one really important thing here is the potential for stories. Not stories like an RPG or telltale game would present to you, but the stories that unfold within a single game itself. I think this is a major reason for the success of games like fortnite and league of legends and I think this game has some serious potential for the same!
Seems really cool, cant wait to see how it turns out
Finally a game to switch to from HS. Reynard I really hope the price model will be fair, and it will be f2p friendly, I don't see it competing other way with HS. I will invest. Cheers
Marcin Lubański It's not really a game like Hearthstone. It is a card game, but using a different concept altogether.
My favorite card game is Infinity wars, you should try it. I also am interested in this bazaar game, reminds me the realms card games.
the ending 😂😂 oh Noodle. I'm so excited to see this project through. looks and sounds amazing, I'm proud of how far you've come!
Today ain't 1st april?
I'm looking forward to your game, it's amazing that you actually followed through with the idea of making a new card game.
sounds incredibly cool. best of luck to you reynoodle! and to the team behind the game!
reynad has embraced the memes. Actually very excited to see what this game turns into
dude this sounds lit, cant wait. love the intro btw
Single best advertisement I've ever wayched
Sincere good luck to you and your team.
Concept reminds me of Dominion, which allows more than 2 players and has a variable card set.
well this video is clearly just a meme at this point ... its been over 4 years and I bet even in mid 2023 it still wont be out see ya then folks
Hi
Hello
i wish one of the indiegogo perks was a limited edition skin for one of the classes or something like that so people know how cool you are in the future
The roguelike genre is something I find super fun, looking forward to seeing how it turns out
Haven't followed Hearthstone or (frankly) cared about Reynad for years, but this sounds super hype. Competitive deckbuilder? Designed for online play? YES PLEASE. I'm a huge dominion fan, and deckbuilding is a proven genre, but Reynad really might be on to something by taking it mainstream. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
Happily contributed! I'm excited for the game!
I've traveled the globe for months on end, searching for the most epic, well designed card game.
Turns out it was Star Realms
This is fucking memetastic and so self aware. I love it
actually what he is telling seems pretty good,i support you man i hope you make it
Cerberus system, Pathfinder Adventures, Space Food Truck, Clank!, Ascension, Dominion, etc.
Those are some good deckbuilding games and some of them are on PC. So Im looking forward to yours!
I love the art design. It feels so fun. Like a Pixar movie.
Super excited, can`t wait to play the game! Good luck to you and your team!
Happy 5 year anniversary without a game
Closed beta October 2024
They released a beta finally but it wasn't actually for this game. This video is promising a Dominion style deckbuilder. They released Backpack Battles 2.
Damn I'm looking forward to this. Good luck!
It wasn't until about 4 minutes in that I realized you were serious
amazing video! the best part: 0:56 =D
He cooked
I love you Reynad, best of luck with this game,I will play the shit out of it when it comes out.
PS. Awesome PR !
Definitely looks pretty cool, though I think announcing this right before Hearthstone and MTG expansions may not have been perfect timing, but that happens.
wow this is happening fast. i cant wait to try it out. hope it isnt to rushed out tho. i really want this game to succeed.
Finally a breath of fresh air for card game players.
Yoo, hyped, seems like a cool idea and concept
He actually went and did it the absolute madman
This looks like it'll be good hopefully the card designs are good too
that bare foot really triggered me
'Just so you know this game the Bazaar is from a studio that abandoned the last project they worked on which is still on steam- Edge of space, so before you throw your money at these conmen go and see for yourself.
What Edward said. Handyman Studios left their last big game unfinished and released it from Early Access incomplete and with crippling bugs.
Heard about this from alex myers, seem really interesting actually, haven't played hearthstone in a couple years, but you got me interested. I like how the cards themselves are the resources rather than mana
The coolest bit I think is you aren't limited to sticking with the playstyle of the deck you are playing if you understand the opponent is going for some really long set up, you can disrupt that
Can't wait to see how this turns out. Best of luck reynad!
Thanks!
The gameplay seems very similar in concept to the board game Clank!
Definitely will give it a shot once it's out. Don't disappoint me noodle!
I think this could be super fun! I have Millennium Blades and Kanzume Goddess at home, and I am going to buy The Terrifying Girl Disorder in the future. I am definitely on board for supporting this game. Can't wait to see everything that you all make!
SOUNDS KINDA LIKE AN RPG TYPE (killing monsters, getting money/gear) GAME SO COOL!! Idk if this will be competitive but sounds sick!!!
Sounds like Munchkin meets Dominion, I'm excited
0:57 "You like that?" "Take it boy!"
I didnt see that Pinata scream coming hahaha :D
