The way it looks is that I would have to create separate page for each custom post type with the “add new post form” widget. Is there anyway to have a selection for the specific custom post type rather than have to build a static page for each?

From my original testing a while back, there doesn't seem to be a way of making the Elementor editor available on the frontend. To be honest though, one of the main reasons I'd want to keep a user out of the WP Dashboard is to stop them from accessing that type of functionality. 😉

Thank you, another great video! You've done a few videos on how to create a user specific admin dashboard... I'm looking for something that enables someone to create a user specific page or portal wherein the main content is not the user's posts per se but for instance, a table summarizing custom fields from the user's favorited posts for example. I think there is enough info here for me to figure out how to stretch your example to my use case. But if you've ever done a video more like that, or can, please point me to it, I'd be grateful!

Is there a plugin to read values from another database table to display on a page as well as capture to create ACF fields? I'm using a plugin for social media and that plugin creates groups and users in their database. I need to read that information to grab the group_id and create a category with the id. I don't want users to even see the category as I need to use it for dynamic control.
I'm also using Events Calendar Pro. It creates events as post types. I would like to create a loop on the calendar events and then allow the group manager to create and edit scheduled events, just like you've showed us how to do with normal posts. I do have the events categorized so that I can filter the events. Some of the events have RSVP tickets. Their database stores information about the RSVPs, including the users information. I want to build a page of who will be attending an event based upon the RSVPs.
There are fields already defined for the Events Calendar. I don't believe that I want to create new ACF fields. Will creating a new Custom Post type allow me to access the content for the Events Calendar. I'm thinking not.
I just want to take information that is already in the database and push it to the manager who can edit their calendars and see who will attend their events.
I hope this makes sense. It's 3:45 am and I've been following your videos for a couple of days now. I built out a admin dashboard, but now I need to create the pages that allow the manager to edit "events posts". I've already built ADD POST and EDIT POST pages. I'm liking them.
Finally, I saw the WP Data Access plugin. It may be the way to grab information about groups from that database and associate it with the current user so that the user can create new blog posts and events for their group. I know it's all very complicated. But I figure that if anyone knows what plugins will do the trick and how to use them, it's you. Thanks in Advance.

Hello Paul! Would it be possible to update the tutorial for JetEngine Front End sumbissions? I have the JetEngine CPT with their own metafields and subinformation - example: I have an option list with checkboxes to show amenities of a house such as wifi, heater, ac etc. All good up to the point, BUT when I am working with the JetEngine Front End Submission - I am only able to link to the main post meta which is AMENITIES but I have no way to link the options list that I created, I can't even get to create the post from the Front End. HELP please 🥺

I will be building something similar with JetEngine soon, but not too sure how deep it will go.

Request !! How create a website like dashboard with Elementor? I mean left menu(no refresh) and content at right, like a dashboard. Thank you.

Thank you very much for sharing. Another great tutorial.
About that post_id for the URL query: Is that value still working if I use the post name for the permalink instead of the default id?

Yes, your permalink structure shouldn't make any difference. 👍

The "Front End Admin" plug-in has been suspended.

    Hoi Paul,
Are you going to make this for bricks users also?

    • @WPTuts

Possibly. It all depends on how viable it is to do with Bricks.

I would like to use the plugin, but it broke my website.
