Yes I actually had planned to do that but I forgot. I am currently working on a patch to add Amtrak (a lot of requests for it) and I will add the SD75m and the missing SD45t for the SP consist.
Are there any plans to add animation to the wheels and drive rods of the steam locomotives by any chance? They are the main reason why i would want this mod. Maybe some steam locomotive sounds too?
Ive been wanting to do those things since I started this mod about a year and a half ago. The problem is, things like moving wheels or any sort of vehicle animations are controlled by the Vehicle Class abilities. These coded abilities are embedded in the main GTAV.EXE. So there is currently NO way to access or change that. You CAN however write a script to fake it and have the parts move. I have been trying to get a scripter to help with this for 14 months, so I have no idea on a timeline for that. Likewise, the trains are forced to share sounds with other parts of the games base audio. You can change the sounds, but it will ruin the sounds for many many other aspects of normal game play. In most notable example, the sound as you pass other vehicles at high speeds. Now, there IS a modder who seems to have figured out 'addon sounds'. This would easily allow me to assign them, but he has not answered any of my messages in months of trying to make contact. So in short, I can build and animate any kind of model functions, but I cannot script. None of the scripters have had success so far, and the ones who have done it before refuse to help me learn how. Probably because they sell models and I give them all away for free. So I have have the models ready to have motion and I have all the sound files. But until someone who knows how will answer me so I can learn, its just having to wait.
I also do have another suggestion: can you possibly make the movie locomotives have the exact consistency of cars as they did in the films and make an option to have only certain movie trains in the game.

It should be compatible with most other mods unless they alter train routes in some way. I had considered making a swat train that would appear only if near the rails with 3 star or higher wanted level, but I am not sure yet how to edit the dispatch meta files to achieve this.
Did you install the required files before installing the train mod? Crashing on game loading you need a custom game config. If crashing in game when a train spawns, you need memory heap adjuster. Do not just install the OIV. If you already have those and its still not working, you want to remove KitsuneTrains and KitsuneProps from your DLCLIST.Meta in your game. Then you can move a copy of the default Trains.Xml to the updated trains.xml location. Remember that Rockstar changed all of the locations recently. These changes and the file locations are all documented in the Kitsune Trains most recent release. The next update with fixes will not be for a few months.

Yes trains like that can be added in future updates for sure.

And I did a train expansion mod, my game SOME HOW survived, the mod put 100+ cars, I had to get a 50+ car mod. Game ran smoothly with 50+ car mod…
