I have learned that, don't think what others are thinking, as you are the one and you are the only one...stand out of the group, surround yourself with intense, talented and smart people who are as crazier than you are and who are probably more smart than you are, and get inspired from them, be the best at what you do, be the very very best, work hard with very high intensity and concentration without losing focus, master yourself at one thing first and then go on to the other thing and then master it...set your goals very high and work towards it with an attitude to win...win every time, success should be repetitive....and even after getting success or having made a name, don't ever leave the things which actually helped you climb the ladder, do them also and do the other things also...Have hunger to learn and learn and learn...and last but not the least...Do Action...

Evan please make a video or analysis about conflicting messages. With so many famous people negating their messages, maybe there are a few universal ones that are left that we can all make use of, maybe call them universal truths. Maybe you can weigh the messages of the person importance, how many famous people stand behind it, and how successful each person is. Maybe these messages, though conflicting, will sway one way or be tied. Maybe they can be called limited truths.
In the end, there's just no one road to success. The contradictions are rather just added proof. Logically speaking multi-tasking vs being a specialist can both be equally beneficial. I believe in following the lifestyle patterns that most closely fit or resemble your personality and how you actually operate day to day. Being direct and intentional in the path that you choose in that regard is just as important, so that you won't live in a contradictory cycle of information overload, further helping you in connecting the progressive dots in your own life. There are no contradictions here and its not a matter of perceptions or "personal preferences." The basic principles (not specific concretes) are universal. The reason for the confusion is due to context dropping. When Grover "says do it all," the context here is basketball - do it all regarding basketball. So practice taking shots, pick up the balls, dress well for your fans, etc. This is all within the context of basketball. He does not say, open a bakery, be good at fishing and be the best basketball player.
Regarding "seize every opportunity" - the same thing applies. Keep the context in mind. Grover's context is basketball, so seize any opportunity and say yes to everything that will make you a better basketball player. It follows logically that you will have to say no to anything that will distract you from being the best basketball player.
And the interviewer in rule 2 needs to stop picking his finger nails. lol

I realized people don’t have time for me I just need to do my own professionalism tasks or goals and categorize myself in my own insults because I have my own different individuals who I feel have succeeded. And it’s not ideal to desire that they are gonna give me something to do to be successful on there coattails I’m just gonna prepare for what I do.
