બેટ દ્વારકા જેનું મૂળ નામ “બેટશંખોદ્ધાર” છે.
બેટ દ્વારકા, દ્વારકાથી થોડે અંતરે આવેલું આ લઘુ દ્વીપ, શ્રદ્ધા અને ઈતિહાસનું મિલનસ્થાન છે. માન્યતા મુજબ, શ્રીકૃષ્ણનું નિવાસસ્થાન રહેલા આ સ્થાને અનેક પૌરાણિક કથાઓ અને સંસ્કૃતિના અદભૂત ચિહ્નો વસે છે. બેટ દ્વારકાના દરિયાકિનારે નિર્મળ સૌંદર્ય અને આસ્થાથી ભરેલું આ સ્થળ તમામ માટે અનોખું આકર્ષણ છે.
બેટ એટલે ટાપુ અને શંખોદ્વાર કે જ્યાં ભગવાન વિષ્ણુએ મત્સ્ય અવતાર લઈને શંખ નામક અસુરનો ઉદ્ધાર કર્યો. જેથી આ સ્થળ બેટશંખોદ્ધારના નામે ઓળખાય છે.
રણછોડજીના મંદિરથી અંદાજે દોઢ માઈલ દૂર શંખતળાવ આવેલું છે. આ સ્થળે ભગવાન કૃષ્ણે શંખ નામના રાક્ષસનો ઉદ્ધાર કર્યો હતો. આ તળાવના કિનારે શંખનારાયણનું મંદિર આવેલું છે. શંખતળાવમાં સ્નાન કરીને શંખનારાયણના દર્શન કરવાથી મહાન પુણ્યની પ્રાપ્તિ થાય છે.

Bet Dwarka, originally named "Bet Shankhodhar," is a small island located at a short distance from Dwarka. It is a place of spiritual significance and historical importance. According to belief, this is where Lord Krishna resided, and it is home to several ancient stories and remarkable symbols of culture. The serene beauty and the spiritual atmosphere along the coastline of Bet Dwarka make it a unique attraction for all.
The term "Bet" means island, and "Shankhodhar" refers to the place where Lord Vishnu incarnated as Matsya to rescue the demon named Shankh. Hence, this place is known as Bet Shankhodhar.
Approximately one and a half miles from the Ranchorji Temple lies Shankh Talav. It is here that Lord Krishna saved the demon named Shankh. At the edge of this pond is the Shankh Narayan Temple. Taking a holy dip in the Shankh Talav and visiting the Shankh Narayan Temple is believed to bring great spiritual merit.
