The view of Lake Erie is actually quite breathtaking when you’re on the side facing Lake Erie and sitting on the outside seat. I also got great airtime from the ride. I was surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

I'm gonna be honest, this was my favorite ride I rode at Cedar Point.
Gatekeeper is amazing! That first drop is so fun!

I found the seats actually pretty comfortable and the ride was alright for a first major rollercoaster
Those are the most comfortable restraints ever! You don't bump your head because of the vest, and it does NOT make it hard to breathe! This is my one of my favorite roller coaster so I'm getting defensive lol

The Ghostbusters reference was the best thing I've ever heard 😂😂 you could even argue that gatekeeper is the keymaster because of the way it goes through its keyholes... Or what if they named Valravn keymaster instead 😂😂
And yet, like every new coaster, everyone thought is was the best coaster ever when it first opened.
You don't know fear until you feel your brand new expensive watch unbuckle when you're almost to the crest of the lift hill of gatekeeper.

My favorite ride there...just slightly ahead of Maverick. Capacity is the best and the bottoms of the drops have pretty strong G's. Have to push forward on restraints to keep them from tightening. I agree that the ending could be better.

How much of this is scripted and how much is improvised?
How long does it take to make a parody video?
Everything is scripted. It takes months to make when you factor in the time it takes from first starting the script, to piecing it together. Because they take so long, I don't put out parodies as often as some of my other videos.

Michigan's Adventure is Cedar Fair's version of Great Escape.
To anyone who now thinks it is dumb- it is not as force less as they exaggerate. It's actually really fun! And Millennium Force is amazing also!

I really do like this ride, and for somme reason i find the restraints comfortable

gatekeepers seats are nice; they really hold you in but I can admit they are incredibly tight. last time I was there I put my glasses in my pocket, and right when we twisted and dropped the seat tightened pushing my glasses into my thigh literally breaking skin. So I just sat there with a lifeless kill me please expression on my face, till I got off only to realize I broke my glasses.

also the last couple times I've been to cedar point gatekeeper has had a 5 or less minute wait? it's a newer-ish ride and not many people are riding it

Anybody else have this happen where you pull the restraints down and they dont go down all the way, but when you reach the bottom part of the first drop like gravity comes into play and the restraints just like squeeze down on you? lol

My mom grew up in NORTHERN Michigan (like a 7 hour drive from CP) and she had never heard about Michigan's Adventure, she had only gone to Cedar Point for all of her life. Sad

I've been on wild eagle and I could breathe fine and the restraints were comfortable.
