It's was an awesome and brilliant opportunity this weekend. Experimental Behavior Analysis is a great branch of ABA. If anyone is really interested in diverting from clients based or clinical services comment below and Dom will gear you towards the right path. We know people😆😉 and we want to pull y'all along
Great reach out to any of us. If you know Dom personally go ahead and reach out to her. Otherwise any of us can help. Getting ready to travel back to our base.
Thank u for bravely going into the rat lab so you could share. I would like to see more of that as it was the nuts and bolts of Skinner’s work. I’ve never seen a rat lab.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I braved the storm. I trying a habitation procedure to reduce my heat of rats but I can’t make any promises. But if that’s something you’re into, I would reach out to Dr. Any Odom at Utah State University to inquire about the research program.
I would love to learn more about Experimental Behavior Analysis!!! I’m just starting out my advanced certificate program in ABA so exploring all the fields but I am really liking those lab coats. 😉
It was the lab coat for me as well. You should absolutely reach out to Dr. Amy Odom at Utah State University and inquire about their doctoral program. They even have fellowships
This was the first, hopefully of many. Maybe next time we can open it to the public. This time around it was of small group to help brainstorm our next steps. Feel free to reach out to Dr Amy Odum on LinkedIn or FB and tell her Dom sent you. We can let her know folks are interested
I love your channel and the information you give . I’m working towards my doctoral degree in aba . I’d love to do the research aspect of things . I also wanted to know if there’s anyway possible behavior therapists can be linked into different conferences as well to learn more ?
Hey!!! & thank you for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoy the videos. Congratulations on your doctoral program. All behavior therapist, RBTs, students, etc should absolutely have access to these conferences. But they don’t feel like it’s for them for whatever reason (too expensive, too technical, too elitist, idk) but you should feel free to attend any ABA conference you want. You will likely get a student discount and make great connections before you even fully start your career. A few of my favorite conferences are BABA, WIBA, and I hear ABAI & CALABA are good as well. I hope this helps
