however much you'd like it as I'm sure you would. most places in England are nice and not like this. but every town in every country has shitholes that they keep away from tourists. all countries.
Rhyl is the town where ex cons from Manchester and Liverpool are dumped when they come out of prison. I stayed in supposedly the best hotel in Rhyl when I was there for a meeting. This was the Grange Hotel opposite the Sun Centre with indoor surfing. It was like Fawlty Towers. There were no conference facilities so we held the meeting in a run down community centre. Everytime I walked into a shop or the library I would see a member of staff struggling to deal with a customer so stoned or braindead they couldn't understand the simplest thing.
Coming from someone who’s travelled to both Central Asia & Rhyl, I’d say that Rhyl is like having an old rundown Soviet town dropped on the North Welsh coast.
It would seem the greatest achievement in the life of the chav at 3:50 was the glassing of a bouncer and shredding of the bloke's ear in the process. To recount that story with such obvious pride is pretty tragic. Judging by the specimens mooching around this dustbowl town, teeth and IQ seem in pretty short supply generally.
I love this whole series. The comments coincide with some great camera shots. Now I know why I never made it in life at 46 years old....I turned a job down on the Walters....oh the women I lost. Pure quality.

Iife expectancy 38years old. In winter temperatures drop to -30, hungry wolves and reopards come down from mountains, searching easy meat, every spring many townsfolk gone. But I still wouldn't want to go on vacation to any these British holiday resorts...too depressing.

We sometimes paid a days visit in following years to reminisce, but it became upsetting to see the town become a cesspit for morons. After my parents' death, I drove through Rhyl some years ago and, despite valiant attempts to clean up and redevelop areas, just like my home town of Bolton, the town centre and sea front have had it.
look at the size of him compared to the fruit machine. he's no bigger than 5 ft why do you think his nose is broken. the guy couldn't fill a form in. he couldn't knock a good dinner out he's more of a nuisance round that area than anything.

I lived in Rhyl for 6 years, I loved every minute of it. The reason it is run down is thanks to government cuts. Sure there’s a rough element, but where there is poverty there is always damaged people paying the cost. I live in Blackpool now, and I can assure you that it’s rougher here than it is in Rhyl.

The government needs to get its act together. Start encouraging comapnies that can to start letting people work from home. There are plenty who work in IT and IT related, who can do there job from home, VR, VPN. This will mean that people with money can relocate out of the cities. Which will mean people with money paying into the local economy.

Nobody ever really tried to start anything with us and the few who did have something to say backed off very quickly once it was made clear we weren’t taking any of their sh*t (we are not intimidating people). No women would touch those carneys with a 10 foot pole either! 🤥🤣
