John's view. Spot named Meatnipple. Best Hogfish of the day - first shot gave him a mohawk. Got a couple and Red Grouper on this dive. Amazing dive conditions.
Man you guys found the hogs. I would say we were half that on hogs but got our limit on red grouper with some really big ones. We were NW but not all the way N
@@robhealy7569 gotcha yeah we were on the southern part of the grounds and bouced out to 165. My buddy shot a black but it shook the shaft. Then came in and got AP on our boulder spot out there. Biggest hog went 16lbs, also huge cubera on the AP spot but again, tore out and got away. 🙃😂
As a newbie, is there some sort of protocol for you getting to follow up on the first hog that you hit, but the other dude swooped in, finished it off, and stuck it on his stringer?
It’s good to have an understanding before you get underwater. For me, I just want the fish on the boat so I don’t mind if someone cleans up if I miss. Some people can get sideways about that. I’m not too worried about who takes which fish home so that helps too
We were out there when you guys were out there too! We landed 78 total pounds of hogfish this day. Grounds was holding forsure!
