Une très grande interprétation par un des plus grand pianiste Beethovenien ,tout est mûrement réfléchi et pensé , et quelle belle sonorité ! Arrau prend son temps comme souvent et tout chante merveilleusement . Magnifique , une leçon de musique d'un grand maître .

The best Brahms concerto no 2 players are really=Sviatoslav Richter! Richter more monumental and genius than Arrau's Brahms no 2! Grigory Sokolov his Brahms concerto no 2 the best piano sound better than Arrau's sound! Sokolov his rhythmic vitalness is unbeatable! Sokolov more Titanic than Arrau! Arrau is one of the greatest!! Arrau is not the greatest!!

I saw my Chilean compatriot in the 80s in Salle Pleyel (Paris) and in Accademia Santa Cecilia (The Vatican, 1985)… simply a genious…moving moments 🥲
