Also, if one wants to work or settle abroad, it's sensible and advantageous to do it from overseas. With Indian MBA, mostly Tier 2 or Tier 3, it's extremely difficult or negligible to get placed in America or EU and as she said, even from Tier1, only 10 to 15 per cent chances of getting placed in the US or EU most being in the Middle East and SE Asia

Thanks for making such videos, it helps a lot to holistically view MBA from 360 Degree. Would also like to see a video based on Top universities in Europe and their admission process if candidates have 5+ years of Experience and do they really require and GMAT and how to finance MBA if it's not company sponsored.

Hi, nice and informative video! Commenting on this since I have completed MS in Information Systems from the US back in 2006 -2008 , pretty much similar time you studied. Regarding MBA abroad, whether in America, Canada or EU, people tend to speak only about top schools. For instance, not all MBA in the US cost 50 or 60 lacs, one can pretty much complete in much lower amount. From where I did my MS, our MBA had the same tuition and funding opportunities. I know folks who completed MBA in less than 4 lacs back when I studied as they got GA/TA and are working in IT/ consulting!
Yes, getting jobs in non tech sectors after MBA is quite challenging or sometimes even not possible since most of the non tech related firms do not sponsor H1B unless MBA is in MIS or one is willing to take IT related roles.
True, there was and e ven now, there is lot of uncertainty in the visa and one cannot be certain if he/ she can work for a longer time frame, especially inbthe US even if they do MBA from top 50 or ivy league schools!!
Indian MBA as per me or my belief is overrated; I'm talking about IIM/IIT where chances are negligible for majority and top firms visit these campuses and other Tier 2 level where getting in is equally challenging.Doing MBA from Tier 3 level schools is like a waste nowadays as firms really don't pay much , as you mentioned, even 10k. Yes, main issue about MBA in India is that there is no mix of cohorts as discussed and folks are pretty young with little to nil experience, IIMs are influenced by engineers and entrance tests for these schools are geared for engineering students and not designed holistically!!
    My thoughts🙂!!
