I've played the original Point Blank several times over the years and seen many other playthroughs of it, and this is the first time I've ever seen the cow target level.
I decided to go through each level and write down the scores from this video, to see what a theoretical /Highest/ score would be, excluding the two levels with corrupted scores. Also including the Fireworks level's score from your High Score TAS video. The 16 levels with the highest scores (from lowest to highest); Shoot x Criminals; Shady Neighbourhood - 13711 Shoot x Targets; Palace - 14484 Shoot x Ducks of your Colour - 14500 Shoot x Criminals; Windows - 14974 Protect Dr. Dan/Don; Volcano's hot Lava - 15137 Shoot x Criminals; Buildings - 15656 Shoot x Criminals; Warehouse - 16675 Shoot x Piranhas - 17400 Shoot x Targets; Alternate 1 and 4 - 17520 Shoot x Targets; Sliding - 20000 Protect Dr. Dan/Don; Vultures - 21736 Shoot Targets of your Colour; Rotating - 23300 Shoot x Targets; Parachute - 25897 Shoot Targets of your Colour; Bouncing - 28080 Shoot x Birds - 31353 Shoot x Octopuses - 31571 Total Sum; *321,994* 321,994 + 4 Lives (40,000) + 10,000 Bonus Points + Fireworks Level (31110) Theoretical best Score: *403,104* Score if Corrupted Levels were included: *492,099* (You scored 50 more points on the Tanks stage in the High Score TAS video, otherwise it would be 492,049.) Oh, and for reference, the LOWEST scoring level is the "Shoot x Skeletons" level, at just *8060* points.
You must had alot of patience to make this compilation because of the randomly generated levels. I don't think i've managed to play all of them but now i can see all of them, thanks for making this compilation!
It take patience to do any TAS :) In this case, the random for the levels is changed if the Start button is pressed 1 frame later, so with the TAS editor its easy to insert a blank frame before pressing Start, to eventually see the level I want in the selection. I am also working on the 69 levels of Point Blank 2, but I don't know when I will find the time to finish it.
You can also shoot the glass pane where the animal sample targets show the correct animal targets to shoots, I’ve done it a few times and it boosted my hit points
