Screen updates are absurdly SLOW. You must have a pretty powerful computer, and it's still lagging compared to the native Windows app. And at $129 per year it's a non-starter.
I still run Evernote legacy. Legacy has the ability to sort by tag and the outlook add in can import multiple emails at the same time. I won't upgrade until sort by tag is added back at the very least. I can't believe that after all these years, you still can't open multiple Evernote windows. That's the easiest improvement to implement.
I need some assistance -- I work on a PC. My Evernote is usually in light mode with the notebook sidebar in dark mode. For the last week or so, my Evernote screen has been in total light mode. How do I get the Notebook Sidebar (the one on the far left) to display in the factory setting dark mode while leaving the desktop and note sidebar in light mode? Please leave me a note here if you have a solution. Thanks
@dodgerea8639 Thanks. I got that. I do not particularly like this new feature, but there is nothing for it, but to accept the change. However, with the latest changes I noticed an issue with grids. The indexing markers on the left side of a table are not properly aligned -- but I assume that will get repaired. @@dodgerea8639
I have to admit that I miss Evernote, I left because of the issues with my app and syncing issues. I also feel like Bending Spoons came across as arrogant when they brought and took over Evernote from the layoffs to the huge price increases. I'm using a free plan of notion and I don't think its better than the old evermore that I have used for over 12 years but for now it'll do.maybe if bending spoons gets its pricing right and issues an apology then maybe I'll go back to being a paid subscriber.
A refresh in the look is fine, but they really need to improve the functionality more than the look. It reminds me of when they revised the elephant logo... Such a distraction from what is most important. Again you commented about becoming more mainstream versus community... not sure what you mean... Perhaps the look helps mass appeal? The look of Legacy was old but v10 was fine. I am still wanting them to fix basic functions like the moveTo notebook like on EN web that still does not show the stack structure, just notebooks in alphabetical list. I think they should fix some of those functional things more than the look....
Evernote is the best. ❤
You better check outside.
Considering it again; especially With email now free.
Same, the two way calendar integration will seal the deal for me.
So happy I switched from Evernote.

I thought Legacy isn't supported anymore
Can't install as iv reached my limit and they have asked me to upgrade
The dark mode note background is too dark. It’s an improvement, otherwise, but that’s a dealbreaker.

Sorry friend. This was changed in the new design. It’s no longer possible as far as I know.

Isn’t the new interface still being trialed rather than complete and rolled out?
Yeah it's still in beta
Where'd you get that blue theme for Chrome? I can't seem to find it

Disappointed.
It's dead... move on...
It still is top 2 most used notes app. Do your research.
I had cancelled my plan but in the last few months Bending Spoons have made loads of improvements.
