I’m not surprised though, because I know a girl with 11 siblings and she grew up to be obsessively clean too, the clutter and chaos of so many siblings drove her to seek order and cleanliness in everything she does and I can see that same energy with this chef. Welp, one more spot added to list of places I wanna eat at before I die. That's some of the tastiest looking chicken I've ever seen, and them ribs look solid too.
Okay now I can honestly testify to this. I LOVE fried chicken and I've tried it in more towns and restaurants than I can possibly count after 50+ years of eating it. Charles Pan Fried IS the best fried chicken I've ever had and I've had it at least a dozen times (worked in NYC for 15 years). Even beats my grandmother's and she was 'locally famous' for her chicken as she brought it to every picnic, town cookout, church dinner, etc.

I 100% believe it’s the best because anybody who’s a true cook knows you season every single part of the dish. A good soak in seasoned buttermilk is how I was taught. Good on him for those cast iron skillets, too. IYKYK I’m using my great grandmother’s cast iron.

I 100% believe it’s the best because anybody who’s a true cook knows you season every single part of the dish. A good soak in seasoned buttermilk is how I was taught. Good on him for those cast iron skillets, too. IYKYK I’m using my great grandmother’s cast iron.
