All u r very lucky to b a student of unu.So enjoy and try to grow to the maxima in the life.This university have nice atmosphere for the competitive exams .Although I dont know much about engineering discipline but since a reputed univ like JNU is enrolling the std to engineering there by hoping that it will produce nice generations of engineer's also

Hn life enjoy krne ke liye to bhot sahii hai.
Alag hi level ki freedom hai. Aur kaafi qcha mahaul hai. Jagah b achi hai. Koi restrictions nhi hai, na curfew timings wagerah aur campus b kaafi safe hai. Har corner pr guards rehte hai.
Baaki ppacements tumhare haath mai hi hai, padhai mai agar tum khud mehnat kroge to 10-12 lakh ka off campus Placement b ho sakta hai.

How is placement shell of SOE JNU
Could you please tell that when will JNU start B.tech + M.tech program in mechanical, civil and chemical engineering since on website exact year is not mentioned.
See still we also don't have any official confirmation from administration. They just said, the building for engineering is under construction. I think it will take 2,3 years to start, not sure.

Nobody have an answer to that.
All we can do is wait. Authorities have assured that building will be ready by next 3,4 years.

Force krne jaisa to kuch JNU mai exist hi nhi krta. Agar tum interest dikhaoge to they'll try their best to convince, not force. Baaki tumhari choice hogi, ki tum limited protests mai b jaa sakte ho bas dekhne, ya fir bilkul hi ignore b kr sakte ho protests and politics.

Bro this video doesn't describe the whole School Of Engineering. I remember there were people who don't wanted to participate in protest against Fee Hikes. So they just stayed out of all this. And none forced them, tho some tried to convince, but at end it was only their choices.

See for engineering, if you are Indian, then you have to write JEE.
And if not, then there are other exams.
So just visit JNU official website jnu.ac.in
There you'll get the complete details.
And if you want to take other courses then there's JNUEEE for admission to Languages, Sciences and Social Science Departments.

Nhi bro. JEE main ke basis pr counseling shuru hogi, uske liye josaa ki website check krte rehna, whan updates aaenge. Whan se options mai JNU choose krna.

Depends on the skills you have gained in Five years. Actually the first batch is still in 3rd year, so we don't have placement records!

There is nothing much to tell about the procedure.
You simply have to appear for JEE, and then apear in counseling. And based on rank you'll get a seat.

What about the exposure of engineering at JNU as it's a great University but SOE started recently (from last year) So there r Tech , Robotics type clubs or not!??
Exposure at JNU Engineering is Multi Disciplinary, like you get to interact with people from Science Dept, Social Science Dept, Language Dept, Sanskrit Dept and also Management Dept. And you'll meet students from those centres ranging from BA to Phd.
And ya SOE do have clubs, like robotics club, loop(coding club), intelligence (web development club), drushyam (photography club), dance club, drama club, sports club and many more.
For ROBOTICS and LOOP club you can have a look at their websites.

What is the cutoff for getting admission in jnu for engineering
You can have the list of cutoff of all institutions on NTA JEE website.
As I don't have a proper answer to your question. And also the pattern of JEE have changed,4 times a year, so maybe there may b variations.
The cutoff is generally above 97.4 for general

The mains reason behind this is that JNU doesn't has female reservation as every other engineering institutes.

Bhai agar tum Indian ho to JEE Mains is the only option. JEE ke rankings ke basis pr hi JoSaa ki counseling hoti hai, aur whin se JNU ke B Tech ka admission hota hai. NRI's ke liye alag option hota hai.
