- In this video Big Tractor Power is out in the field with a 370 hp JOHN DEERE 8R370 Tractor tractor and 42ft JOHN DEERE 1890 Air Drill. This video shares the sights and sounds of no-till seeding winter wheat in Western Kentucky. The video spends time in the tractor cab talking with the operator about the technology that operates the tractor and air drill.

I have a old 4955 and they are a good tractor great for planting i hope too by the same as in this video and i love the camera work you do it is some of the best i have seen thank’s ❤ we also use bigger one’s but the little one is one of my favorite’s
Tractors sure have changed a lot in the 60 years that I have been driving them.

Yeah Jason, we have 2 8R 410's and an 8345R. They do all of our planting of corn, soybeans, wheat and oats. They do a fantastic job for us. GO BTP 💪

I pulled the same planter with a 8360r and it slipped in the high teens all day long, this one dosent seem to struggle so much. maby have to weight it up some.

They really have that tractor weighted down with rear wheel weights as well as the rack on the front. Does this drill really pull that hard that they need this?

Was all the other tractor's in the that same field pulling the same size drills, or some bigger? What size 9RX were they running?
The 9470RX had a 42ft drill.

Is it hard to get the farmers to let you film them and sit in the cabin? I think of that question every time I watch your videos. I'm sure there's some people who would say no. Is it very often? And have they ever let you drive?

@@bigtractorpower the cab post make the hood look a bit shorter I guess. Not as sporty looking. As long as it runs lol.
I can see in the near future no operator will be needed, just choose the field to be planted and hit enter and systems will take over, and alerting the farmer of any problems. Several tractors in the field together will communicate with each other and get the field planted and return to its starting point.
that is not anything like a hydrostatic lawnmower. That is a cvt transmission
He is just saying it handles as easy as a lawn mower. Although some top end utility/ lawn tractors like the 30 hp Bommer 8n and Farmalls have CVT.
