From a freelancer's point of view (at least on Upwork) the reason some of us go higher in bid regardless of budget is because some clients are not sure what to put for their budget. For instance, you put your budget at $200, but you aren't really sure what you should pay. Some freelancers do less work for more and would take interest in your posting, but want to get paid more. On occasion, there are clients that post within their post that they cannot go any higher than the listed budget. That already takes care of people going higher than your budget. Hopefully, that helps you, too, if you don't already do that, Mr. Williams. :) PS Thank you for the video- I like to know what clients expect as not all are the same. It helps with proposals and such.
It was very informative. It's true about not having much competition. My little girl and i went to the county office and she let us use the computer for looking up properties on the list and she said ma'am no one ever comes in here. I just bought an acre with a lakeview. And we have bought it with the intent to build. I got the building permit out and informed the building permit place that we would either put a mobile home or an RV an it was all cool. By the way we own another home. So, we started clearing the land. Then we started staying there.But, we winded up buying an older model RV and the owner across the street called or went to the permit department stating that we are dumping poop on the ground. Which she is lieing. We digged up a trench about 300 feet long. Because it looks like that same neighbor told the other neighbor to cover up the draining pipe on her end. So, our property could go under water which it did.Permit office came out multiple times which is fine. Then they pist me off because I said no she is the one with the problem her septic system stinks real bad. Did they fine her? No, they didn't. I told the staff from permit office to give me some documentation stating what the problem was because I was not going to deal with these crap anymore that I was going to contact my lawyer & that they had to deal with him. She said ma'am you are not out of compliance . I am actually in the country no deed restriction, no city ordinance. I put up No Trespassing signs all over . The un-covered the drain because i called the commissioner and gave him an hour to have it uncovered or i was going to contact the media. I did contact the media . I think they are just either racist or just ugly people. Any helpful information would be appreciated.
I've been looking into this as finding extra work to keep busy. i was directed to upwork through another military spouse and i love the idea. I'm just still confused about the process and jobs need specific time frames. but living in hawaii kind of makes my ability to apply to some jobs harder.

Fiverr upwork and any freelance exchange websites are for cheap undignified people that are too cheap to pay a decent wage.
