Starts With the Heart - LCI Nurses Month Original Song 2023

For Nurse's Month this year at Levine Cancer Institute, nurses were polled about their experiences as an oncology nurse. Several LCI nurses answered and their contributions are the lyrics for this original song, “Starts With the Heart”. Thank you to those who contributed to this songwriting project. The music was originally composed and co-written by LCI music therapists, Maddie DePriest and Dean Quick. Most of the lyrics were taken directly from the responses to the poll.
