I am so sad this artists has disappeared for now, maybe family, or motherhood, or illness, maybe work, maybe blues got a hold of her for a time.. At least she she has given us these beautiful recordings and kept her channel up. Lets hope she comes back when shes ready.
I don't know what to say....you made me cry with joy that was so sweet, your an absolute angel, thanks for posting this song I'll be waching it over and over again.5 stars,in my favourites and subscribed too,I'm hooked.Love from Bob.
Well it’s December 26th 2020, pretty late in the evening. I’m still listening to these wonderful videos and miss your artistry. If you ever get to read this, Happy New Year 2021!
Thank you! I did learn it myself, but I had to play it for a week straight, and still have to play it once in a while to make sure I don't lose it. I think the hammer on to the F comes after a G7. But it's a C before that.
Wonderful. Thanks for doing some Frank Stokes, a man who doesn't get the respect he deserves. Feel free to do some more of his tunes. Would love to hear you sing some Luke Jordan, too.
Really love this! Your voice is strong & pure as ever & the picking is great. (And thanks for the message - I did like the yodel on the Jimmie Rodgers!)
Great playing little girl! Wow! How on earth did you learn about this kind of music? It's great to hear someone young and female playing this stuff. Keep up the great work!
Fantastic. Great playing and singing. You look so young too. Great to see young people digging this music. I really wish I would have focused on it earlier. I'm a punk rocker turned fingerpicking blues wannabe. If I had learned the basics of this music first even my punk playing would have been better for it.
Some of the best picking and singing I ever heard. Thank you for keeping the blues alive and sounding so much like the original artists. Do you have a cd out yet?
These cross-rhythms are really impressive. Your mixture of rubato vocal lines with an almost Country-style regular picking gives you a new and distinct crossover Blues / Country feel (like Buddy Holly had).
She gets it. She gets the crazy cadences of these tunes. The vocals performance is rare uncanny. Mostly, though, she gets it. She gets these old tunes.
Was looking at artists who do alt thumb picking for a tuition bk I'm writing and come across your vids via Skip James. Your versions are really good. You could release them, mistakes and crackles and all - a compilation of a dozen of these recordings would be welcomed by many it seams. .
Do you play any gigs? I would pay to see you. I would have to say you are one of the best and most consistently good players I have seen. A nice touch, and a fantastic voice! Cheers, Adrian.
I hope you are not so sad in the real live how does you looks. Withe voice like this and the guitar you playing you should be more happy. It is a gift. Very good. I like it.
I really liked the finger picking! It sounded a lot like Mississippi John Hurts style. Which I know is hard to master Good job!! You are a far better guitar picker than I
This is great stuff! How long have you been playing and when and why did you become interested in this type of music? I have to say that you are very talented and I hope you keep on !
You are amazing and so is that song. I'm slowly figuring it out, but can't get the hang of that c to f hammer-on transition thing. Did you teach yourself this song?

Very nice. You play really well, and you have a beautiful soulful voice. You remind me of Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt.
