So true .... I live also in the Philippines one time and after a few beers in a new ( outside ) club that was opening They were singing songs put you to sleep. So. I made that comment quietly and I was prompted to sing for them. I said I do not know your music and I don't sing . One of the relatives of the new bar owners asked me to sing my favorite song and showed me his phone for selections. So I sang - Cover of the Rolling Stone by DR. HOOK - then CCR - Janis Joplin - Mercedes Benz - - .... They loved it and wanted more. I never sing Krackyoky in Canada But in the Philippines it works... Just wanted to share...

I was a baby in pampers during the early 70s. I use to look at my mom's girlfriends and wish I were full grown so I could bag them. Specially Yvonne. And mom was always jamming to disco. I remember baby dancing holding her hands and laughing. When disco died I cried

Did Patrick die too! I remember Sylvester doing a Interview with Ebony in the 1980's when AIDS became a national issue. He talked about losing his Lover to AIDS and then he too would die.

@@jmdevotion Yes they died of similar causes, both A. I. D. S. related, but whatever the reason for their deaths, it came too soon for those two men. Patrick & Sylvester, like so many artists, were at the peak of their profession & passed away far too soon. Their music is their legacy & it has touched many people in different ways. I'll never forget the first time I heard Mighty Real by Sylvester or Menergy by Patrick Cowley. I produce electronic dance music & thank those two especially for their talent & artistry. Patrick Cowley was innovative & technically highly creative, his style of electronic dance music is at last getting the recognition it & he deserves. The Purple Disco Machine remix of Menergy is terrific, but I wish it was twice as long. Luckily & for my own use only, I can remix & extend it to make it as long as I want.
