I remember the day in when John Bonham died. It broke my heart. For years I wanted Robert back in Led Zep form. He did many great things but I still wanted the old days cause that is what I loved. I am 57 now and I too have learned so much about American music. I am blown away by Robert and Allison and of course T Bone. Do not think this would have been this great without T Bone. I am so happy that they have stamped this music to the world because it needed to be done. I hope they do much more...

I had just read an article on Google about Alison and Robert getting back together for another collaboration. I've been both a very huge blue grass fan and, of course, a Led Zeppelin fan for a very long time. So, I thought, what the heck, give it a chance. Yeah, I know, their last album won a bunch of Grammy awards and bla bla, things like that don't mean much to me. If I like it, I like it. And, having said that...I like this song. The drum track was awesome and the lyrics were great. What I really liked was the Rockabilly groove of the song. I had just read an article on Google about Alison and Robert getting back together for another collaboration. I've been both a very huge blue grass fan and, of course, a Led Zeppelin fan for a very long time. So, I thought, what the heck, give it a chance. Yeah, I know, their last album won a bunch of Grammy awards and bla bla, things like that don't mean much to me. If I like it, I like it. And, having said that...I like this song. The drum track was awesome and the lyrics were great. What I really liked was the Rockabilly groove of the song. Ok, I'll shut up, except to say that I will be listening to more of their music, right,. now!

When I first saw an ad for their original collaboration, I thought it was an SNL parody ad, the whole idea sounded ridiculous to me. Then I heard the album. These two bring out the genius in each other.

Who ever thought you could take two luminaries from such vastly different parts of the musical spectrum and find in their combination such an outpouring as theirs? What a surprise. The musical equivalent of peanut butter and jelly. You just cannot get enough.
It doesn't just tickle the ear; no. It grabs you and yanks you to full attention like a nun bringing an unruly student to order. And the student discovering they like it.

I had not heard this was coming. This is brilliant. Saw them at Rupp Arena in Lexington KY 7-18-2008 for Raising Sand.
I'm even hearing the ghosts of the voices of The King, of Phil and Don, and all along a thread that runs right through Chris Isaak to the here and now. This is treasure.
I pray that I have a shot at seeing them in concert this time.
