How to get Kitano Tenmangu Shrine?(my idea, not use a bus.)
1. Go to Arashiyama（many choices from your hotel ）.
2. Ride Keifuku electric railroad(京福電鉄、嵐電 Randen）
From Arashiyama Sta.(嵐山) To Katabiranotsuji（帷子ノ辻）（Transfer）
From Katabiranotsuji （帷子ノ辻） To Kitano-hakubaicho sta.（北野白梅町）
3. 5 mins on foot.

Few years ago, I watched a movie called "the old capital" (旧都. released in 2016 I think), I was very impressed by it's cinematography from the first minutes. It does a great job in depicting Kyoto's traditional architectures, natural sceneries and people's life. The storyline was very great too.

This maple is very wonderful. Plum is famous for Kitano Tenmanguu shrine. I didn't know until recently that Momiji garden here was so wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful video.

The above is beautiful but I still cannot fathom how such a place which is on a thing less than .000000001% of the universe is so great when there is so much else. It truly is like being taunted: not by what is sublime as CS Lewis said but by that which we're made to think is sublime. It feels very made to purpose that I observe the above with heightened regard. It is by that which I can like it that I find it amusing not by it itself. A very clever matrix.

Early December - the best but super crowded
middle December - OK and empty(this video)

It would be late November. And it all depends on the weather. We were there on the 26th of November. It was beautiful.
