Yup. I love these old beats too because they heavily sampled funk music and funk music is my all time favorite genre. They still sample stuff now, but it's almost as though they try to hide it so people don't realize it and most people nowadays don't listen to funk so they'll never know it. Dre was great at picking very obscure tracks to sample from funk to soul music. Songs most people will never run into. He did this for Eminem, Tupac and many others I'm sure.
