He reinvented singing/rapping/playing guitar and performing live.

That was almost like studio recording .He sang a long medly in different genres from classical to rock in Nepal live performance. It was very soulful.

its an interview dude . like i understand the whole seeking validation thing , but have you ever seen srk , aishwarya , priyanka west interviews , thet literally ask them about difference in industries , food , people everything - doesnot mean they are seeking validation .
like these are basic generic questions asked to foreign artists in any country which makes sense because for them its an experience and fans indeed want to know these things .
seeking validation is all those reaction channels that get views just mentioning india . if you watch any of them , then indeed you are seeking validation . again reactors may actually hold conversations on art , so that again is completely different - but if its just reaction then , indeed its driven from validation .
its good to promote culture , as a soft power , which china , korea , japan uses - doesnot mean we are seeking validation .
