For anyone seeing this you should do the 1st combo 100 times(300 punches) 2nd combo 50 times(100 punches) 3rd combo 50 times (150 punches) every single day. In the 1st week you're going 100/50/50 and in each consecutive week you wanna add 5 to each combo(2nd week should be 105/55/55). I'm on my second week and I already see huge improvement in speed
for easy reference its: Jab, Jab Cross (first) Cross, Hook (second) Hook Uppercut,Cross (third) They can be chained together as a Jab Jab Cross Hook Uppercut Cross
At 58 + I'm still fit enough to follow your instructions through some modifications suitable to my age. In my school days I used to practice boxing and shogokai karate. I follow my system by leutenat J. P. Muller for two days and 5BX exercise for two days. Many thanks for your beautiful yet simple explanation. Wish I had you in my school days. God bless
I like these videos they make sense. I don't like fights, But sometimes things have to be settled. Or you gotta fight. Thank you for these videos been practicing.
My favourite combo I've done so far is Left Jab Left Jab RightCross Left body kick Right Jab Right Knee Right jab Left Cross I like that one because when I do that one they almost always move the perfect way for the next part of the combo to land it just right
I agree with every combo you mentioned. I especially love the 112. It's the most used combo I throw and I throw the 112 many different ways. With slight variations. it is the most versatile combo I like to use but yet so simple.(for instance in that combo I'm a switch of straight job for a long-range hook or a cross with the overhand it can be very versatile that's just one example) thank you for all the helpful info your videos definitely enhance my fight game
The first combination is a lot like I was taught in my self defense class, except the first jab is a V-shape/tiger claw strike to the eyes, the second jab is used to line up the next shot which is a right palm to the nose.
Shane. Today I fought my bully. Hes 6'2 and im 5'7 and hes been beating my ass all the time so today in stood up to him and i knocked him out .These tips helped me a lot. Keep up the good work
I've been boxing for a while now (I'm a southpaw) and the combo that I find works the best is a Cross, Hook, Cross, Jab, Lead hook to the head, Lead hook to the head then Cross. This combo works really well if you're fighting an opponent that's taller than you because after the hook to to body if they're still able to fight (Because it's a liver shot), they almost never see the hook to the head coming.
Great vids man but I have a serious question. If you know you can't take a guy on for very long before inevitably losing that fight, what would be the best way to end the fight fast? I'm in high school and have a bullying problem so I don't want to hospitalize him, just end the fight while I have the upper hand. I was thinking maybe a jab to the throat but I don't know if that would be dangerous or not. Please help! A vid would be very helpful
I have been doing a cool combo lately... That works pretty great for me... I duck throw a jab stand up throw a jab stepping in throw another jab while switching legs fast(it endw up looking like a cross) my right(or left, depends what foot i started with) gets outside the oponent stance qnd i pivot on it throwing either a hook or a cross, my left lands close to my right so i can leap behind my opponent and hook them on the way and from there im behind them so i can punch, takedown, kick, piss on them, whatever...
go first with a combo then hadoken then another combo chances are they can fall down and get up dizzy then go for a grab and throw repeat 2 or 3 times youll surley get a perfect ✌
Keep one hand to the front for defense (your jab hand), put your other hand at the back for balance and stabilization, kick the guy in the shin with your right leg( left leg if you're southpaw). Take your right leg and place it behind you into fighting stance and get up. If That doesn't work just use your legs to defend yourself and attack until an opportunity to stand up presents itself. Sorry if it sounds really complicated or you don't get what I'm saying.
Guys, the best fight tips utilize your entire 11 point system! 2 X fists, 2 X elbows, 2 X feet, 2 X shins, 2 X knees + the infamous head butt! Boxing is fine, but the 11 point is far superior. Real life violence is wacked and bullies do suck! I've been sucker punched as a kid a few times and they ain't no fun! If you are serious about self defense training: A: turn to my Master: B: love one another C: if all else fails learn this system and never look 4 trouble! But good technique Shane! Your body mechanics are stylish!
that hook to the body to uppercut is deadly but its not really a beginner move because hooks and uppercuts with your left( or right if you're a lefty) can feel really weird and really inaccurate. i remember my lefts would never be on target because u need to really practice it
i made this up, (dont know for sure) but its a combo i havent lost with, its a straight right jab to the nose, followed by a left hook across the chin and with your right arm hook up to their splein
If you end up in a fight, throw a left of a right hook in a way that the opponent can dodge it by crouching, the give that opponent a crucial upper cut to the chin
In my boxing fights I usually do a right upper cut followed by a left hook then a right straight then step back then one two. Do you think that's a good combination for an in-fighter who uses the peekaboo stance?
The best boxing combos start with a jab and end with a jab. He is ending every combo still in the opponents range with a cross. Step in with the jab and step out with the jab so you don't get hit. I learned this from the 1996 USA Olympic boxing team coach Carlos Duncan. If you don't control the distance your in trouble.
great analysis on your videos !!! but I notice you're more of a body puncher , I say the best three HEAD COMBOS ARE : Basic one two (or shoe shine ) the Queens combo( 3s) (one two hook ) I first learned this combo in the rythm of Queens we will rock you song lol . and the 4s combo ( one two hook hook combo) some like to throw the two jabs part then dip and add the 3 , and 4 (which are the hooks ) thanks for the fight tips I'm enjoying these vids please keep it up
hey I just watched a bunch of you vids great tips by the way awesome stuff man wish you would have been doing this when I was in school my fights were 90% endurance. But my question is how do block a kick and use it to your advantage like use there kick against them.
In which case how should I use these combos in which situation of a fight? Am I waiting for anything certain or am I setting up or forcing there movement to set up my own exchange?
Awesome video Shane! Iv’e been watching your video’s and practicing your drills. I must say, i’ve had people asks me if i’ve had training in the past. Of course I expound upon it and say, i’ve done MMA for a few years. LOL! Just kidding, I give your video cull credit.
Hi man, I love your videos and I like boxing, but I´ve seen that the succes of boxers is in how they move their feet, so could you please make a video of how to improve the foot work, thanks and congrats for your videos and your skills
Please make one how to take on multiple guys at one time I'm having trouble with like 6 different people right now if they all jump me or put me in a trap to fight I need to learn from u
I would hate being a youtube boxer. Half of the comments are people saying you suck, and the other are people who don't speak English (and I assume are also saying you suck).
Idk if it will be easy to focus on punching like that while your in a fight cause usually some people won't think about how there gunna punch when they fight

once youve closed in you can swap easily to a knee or elbow one example on the cross hook combo throw the cross to close the distance drop down like youre about to drip his body then throw a high elbow
Shane, could you do like a type of POV fight where you do punches and jabs at the camera which could improvise my dodges. Thanks. If anyone else agrees then like.
I apologize if this is redundant or just plain out of place but i think you have to reduce the room in your punches a bit, Shane. In this video, they are too open. I've watched some of your videos and i can clearly certify that a punch would most likely ALWAYS hurt. But for that ungodly moment that your opponent can take one of the punches in your combo, you might be open for a quick shot from them; a counter, to be precise. Just reduce the length that you throw your arms back when you rush someone by a little bit and it might help. Again, i apologize if that was out of place but it just seemed like a little notification on my part.

Hi Shane...I love your videos...it was really inspired me...keep up this good work...I hope you ll make a video on how to block kick....
When you hit a guy and he flinches or something, just keep on punching and don't let him counterattack
That didn't work for me only a little when i was sparring my cousin
I remember someone did this, and I ran close to him and picked him up and slammed him. I don't like rapid punches, they annoy me.
Shane your the best i watched all your videos and they really work looking forward to seeing more
this was an awesome video, here are some other good ones

i noticed that too haha
With the first combo should the punches have more speed or power behind them?
How could I combine these combos with knees, kicks or elbows?
once youve closed in you can swap easily to a knee or elbow
one example on the cross hook combo throw the cross to close the distance drop down like youre about to drip his body then throw a high elbow
