      No one actually does anything. It’s mostly for show. Even the last protest on campus is was more of fussing about with each other and it wasn’t even outside the hall.

    • @kyleeaton2717
      @kyleeaton2717 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Will Kriski well don't you think it can be improved upon? We live in a flawed system based on coercion and all this talk about other economic failings in history is a debate Point as well as a deterrent from fixing what's broken. I personally don't think that capitalism is reconcilable but I don't want you to think that I am advocating for any economy that took place in History either.

    • @kyleeaton2717
      @kyleeaton2717 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Junder R are you saying that we can't create a system that has less flaws? That's all I'm saying.

    • @kyleeaton2717
      @kyleeaton2717 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Junder R I would say that it's abnormal that most people don't know how flawed the system is.

    • @kyleeaton2717
      @kyleeaton2717 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Junder R was it abnormal when everybody thought the Earth was flat? No but they were all wrong so I don't understand what that has to do with anything. That doesn't rule out the possibility that one day we might have a Flawless system but it all goes back to my point about people defending this system and it stopping us from having a real discussion about what to do.

    I've been watching Ben for about a year, and I have to wonder, how are people offended by this? Anyone who adamantly refuses to listen to reason is really just selfish.

    • @Svilly12
      @Svilly12 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      He himself explains why: identity politics. When you're whole identity is wrapped up in your politics, when someone comes along and offers a different viewpoint you feel like they are attacking you personally. And people find that offensive. It's like if I called you a cunt. You may be offended. That's because you feel I am unfairly attacking you. Ben pointing out how stupid their viewpoints are offends them. And because their viewpoints are stupid, they can't use reason to quieten him. Instead they have to act like fuckwits.

      @@Svilly12 you can call me anything I will not be offended, that's all free speech. Freedom and love are the most important aspects of life. Mean words are just words, and if those mean words aren't coming from my spouse or family (people I truly care about) why would I care what you call me or think of me? That's what I don't understand about this whole "offended" trigger bullshit movement. If you are so fucking soft that words from strangers affect your mental wellbeing than in a way arent you more in need of counseling than a safe space? ( this is not directed at you of course just a statement ) I think these leftists need to just thank god and country for what we have, and not try to change our lives over their insecurities and flaws. Seriously noone gives a fuck about you or what you do if your not pushing your rules and your agenda on another person's liberties.

      Mike Camire ~ Many Billionaires in this country as well!
      T Sun ~ What's your issue? Many of those Millionaires are minorities, which proves you can make it in America!
      And your, "No man (or woman) is an island" comment kind of proves that point. Leftist generally put forth this victimhood notion that America is racist and holding the minorities back. No man is an island concept implies those Millionaires had some help along the way. Exactly!!! America isn't holding anyone back. We want everyone to become better off. And they are!
      Trump's economic policies are certainly helping. There have been numerous economic records broken under his leadership, including the Lowest Black, Hispanic, and Asian unemployment in American History! Everyone is doing better under Trump!
      There are more Americans working now than ever before in US History. And guess what else? Because more people are working, even after the Trump tax cut, the US Treasury has taken in more revenue than it ever has before! Why? Because workers pay taxes! A rising tide lifts all boats. . .
      God Bless Donald Trump! God Bless Ben Shapiro! And God Bless America!

      Sometimes motivation must come from without. Nothing like letting them do without for them to get motivated. Give them a deadline, then stick with it. I had to do it with my youngest. Six months to get a place. Period.
      If not, well, you'll find a couch elsewhere. There are also homeless shelters. They may resent you for a while, but what will they do when you're gone? You're not going to live forever. Better to light a fire under them whole they're younger.

      This is because he sticks to a few facts and doesn't get into going on and on about himself. Most speakers take the first half of their speech trying to prove to people how awesome they are, thereby boring people to desth.
      Ben proves his lectures have worth by doing the opposite. There's a truth that circulates among intelligent women that when a man has to tell you how great he is, he's quite likely the one to avoid. This truth is transferrable into all aspects of life.

You don't need to check his facts, he doesn't give opinions. He gives facts that are easy for anyone to see. He'd stomp everyone in debates and I bet he'd win the young vote. Second, you can call yourself pretty much anything you want to call yourself. I knew a woman who was pale white, red hair, freckles. I had known her about 6 months before I found out her DL had her listed as black. Both parents were black as we're all her siblings. You couldn't tell with her. Some sort of recessive gene.
      She could have just called herself white if she wanted. The "Africa", doesn't have to be there. It's chosen by the political elite as a designation and way of separation. Now, they're migrating to "people of color".

If we left the building we couldn’t go back in and cops were all over (for no reason literally no one was violent). I love you, but the school was focused on us students being able to be stay in class. This is what I got from it, at least. I don’t think the university had any ill intentions.

      You'll be waiting a long time if you're waiting to hear what you want to hear. It sucks to have to pick a side, so dont. Vote wildcard, or for yourself.... Use that little bit of power that you can, man. When you make the decision to vote, you probably talked over some issues that matter to you with someone else. Maybe that someone else will now go vote? Maybe you both actually become better informed through the mere act of thinking about voting or elections. The more people that are informed, the better. The real trick is finding unbiased information...

      After net returns on tax refunds are factored in, only 50% of households pay income tax yes. If you live in MN though remember there is also a state income tax that starts at I believe 5.5% and goes up to 9.5%

    • @ivojara
      @ivojara 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You wouldn´t want to make the amount of money it takes to be in the 50% that doesn´t pay income tax, or maybe you would, who knows ? If you have a part time job, you are not paying income tax, must be some other tax, doublecheck it. ;)

    White gentile Minnesotan here. Amen to Shapiro's concept of effort. Cultures that push success -- Asians, Jews -- *should* succeed over the rest of us *statistically*. I view this *superiority* as a *challenge* to excel. I see a Japanese or Jew doing better than me, I aspire to do better than him. This is called gentlemanly competition. I aspire to outpace the Japanese and the Jew. I do not try to cut them down. Game on, my cousins. Let's brawl.
