What to do you think is better? Staying in Fira and taking buses to the Perissa beach, or staying in Perissa and taking buses to Fira/Oia for the Caldera view?

We've been going to Perissa for over 20 years every year. It has an appealing laid back feel with loads of quality restaurants like Ramaya, and Hellas. Bob's Bar is a brilliant bar with very reasonable prices.
The bus stop to Thira is right outside of Bobs and costs very little. Thira is very beautiful, but also very busy ! Prices are also a lot higher than in Perissa. Hope this helps.👍
