It's not flexing when this is what you do... 😉
The most beautiful of flexes I would say - freedom, without specific frames on this one! 🙂Bit of a showcase, so to speak. Glad you liked it! More, please!?
All of their songs are a musical journey with heart and humor - do some more -and before you know it - you´ll be Loopified
Yeah, I continue to be gobsmacked by Dirty Loops so I can def relate. Well done sir, more DL please!
Wonderful to see your bewildered, but pleased, reaction. Dirty Loops always gives you a bit of a journey in their tunes, but more so than usual in Work shit out.
I hope you will react to some more Dirty Loops stuff. If you want a slightly more traditional setup of the song, but still an absolutely mind boggling song, check out their all new Run away. Others will give you other alternatives, and I suggest you take their advise first, to get into the "traditional" funky fusion-jazz-rock-pop-soul-x Dirty Loops vibe a bit more (I do not know what I am talking about, but say it anyhow). They never really make two songs that are alike, that is one thing (out of many) that I feel makes them interesting to listen to.
Great comment, Ingmar 👍
Yes, Dirty Loops are always a total experience. In a way they’re always flexing, but it’s rare that the drummer, Aron, or Jonah the vocalist/keys player, get a designated solo of that length. Their ‘flexing’ usually is more embedded in the overall writing of their songs or arrangements of covers. But it’s always insane. All three ooze musicianship, creativity and technical chops.
This track, I find, is an especially crazy and dramatic journey ☺️
He Rick’s bass tone is recorded over many channels here, and it’s just one of the best. He’s also a dope funk bassist.
Aron -one of the best drummers out there. He also cowrites their material, including many of Henrik’s bass lines. To top it off, he edits all the visuals of their videos.
Jonah is an amazing singer as well as keys player. He comes from classical and jazz, Henrik and Aron maybe more from jazz and rock, if that’s helpful. Really, together those three defy any genre. Which might help explain why you never know what’s around the next corner ;)
Thanks for that reaction. I always love it when others are discovering the genius of this trio 🔥
Check out their tracks “Next to You” or “Rock You”.
Much more straight forward, but equally mindblowing 👍
Great reaction Dan. Thanks. Music on steroids!! 😂😂 They are incredible musicians !!
I saw them live in Brixton in Jan this year. A great concert. Go well watcher.
You give me al di meola vibes. Awesome reaction.
The phrase you always hear repeated in reactions to this song is "There are a lot of things going on here!" Indeed it is. They are all over the plays. Still it´s very cool. In that sense it reminds me a little of North and Central African Highlife music. 😀
hehe, watching your musical overton window shift in real-time....very fun ;-)
Why don't you go right to the bottom of the "rabbit hole"? Check out their take on J.Biebers "Baby" (I'm sure you'll like the bass solo) and B.Spears "Circus" DL became known for their ability to totally rearrange the music and present a very different version. Then you have "Just Dance" L.Gaga, their own "Hit me" and so on.....
Keep up the good work!😊
Damn Dan! You are sweeping all my favorites! Of Course there is our Girls, now Dayseeker and Dirty Loops??? Hit some Spiritbox and you will have covered all my favorites!
Not to the max. This is only a glimpse of what they can do.
Love to sea your genunine chock reaction. 😆
