Multumesc - Merci - Thank you soo much, George!! :-) It worked perfectly on my Dacia Sandero from 2020 here in Kerry / Ireland. (by the way, just a slight little difference in the display, maybe of interest for some users who dont see a single spanner: in that car - Sandero 2020 - there was not exactly just the spanner icon as in the video, but a similar icon with a car, an arrow AND the spanner. There I had to press >10 secs, than it was deleted / reset)
Any Dacia with years 2017 and 2018 and some of 2019 you need a scanner to turn the light off,,,The dealership I got mine from said they would charge me 80 euro to turn it off ,,So that's 80 euro at least once a year for the life of the car,,,,And some dealerships won't turn the light off unless you get a oil change as well,,,So that's over 200 euros,,,,,,To make it worse,,Only some scanners will turn the light off,,,,I researched this extensively and I got the Launch CRP919x ,,It was a bit pricey at 500 euro,,But not only did it turn the light off but it's incredible what it can do ,,especially with the DPF system on the diesel ,,,Hope this helps...
If you mean you can't see the spanner icon in that case may need diagnostic tool to reset it I have never see 2019 to need diagnosis scanner for service reset but maybe it just happened Hope you trying with ignition switch on But engine off
@@georgetech380 Yep, I have ignition on, engine off. But the menu with the spanner icon is simply not there at all even though the Car manual states so :(
@@lobodpav so probably needs diagnostic scanner to reset the service intervals,on that model must be very rare,every Sandero I am doing 2018-+ I can reset it through the stalk switch here in UK Sorry I can't help more
Am încercat pe MCV 2018 și nu merge... Sau nu ma pricep eu 🤣 Bag cheia în contact, pun pe poziția de pornit, fără sa pornesc și țin butonul de setup apăsat, dar nu se întâmplă nimic pe orice afișaj as selecta, fie ca e pe temp, ceas, funcția setup, nr km total sau ultimul traseu... Pur și simplu nu-mi apare ca și ție... Adică nu-mi apar acele opțiuni cu mașina și MPG și încă vreo 2, 3 care îți apar ție... Doar se schimba cele la care am acces în mod obișnuit. Vreo sugestie?
@@georgetech380 I just bought an OBD2, but couldn't find any option regarding the service light, only about raising errors, I have one I'll try tomorrow to replace a sensor and I'll do a reset with Torque app but I doubt that will affect this service one too... I'll see... If you have any other suggestions about some different app that could be used for this one I'll greatly appreciate it. Thanks anyway!
@@FlorinBaci sorry I don't have any other suggestions because I was working on official Renault Dacia dealer and we was amusing the very expensive 4000€ + Renault Clip diagnostic laptop so I was able to do any job I wanted....I don't know what kind of obd2 tool you bought,and if can do cars after 2018 ......I have never use any other obd2 diagnostic than the Dealership level Scanner....check one of my other video how i do it on Dacia Logan ......is the same proses
The size zag light on this model is the service warning......if you can't reset it the way I do it on my video you need the diagnostic scanner to do it .....

I have a Sandero 2019, the model just before the facelift. When pressing the button, there is no menu with the Key icon :(

Sorry i dont know why .... maybe is one off the few Sanderos that manual reset not possible .....only with diagnostic scanner

Almost all Sanderos after 2019 I am doing service reset with out diagnostic, the new Sandero from 2021 service reset from steering buttons all of them
