    Loved this so much, Bekah! There are seriously so many ways to save money at Disney that a lot of people don’t realize and that it is possible to go for cheap(ish)!

    I purchase discounted Disney gift cards at Target - it is only 5 percent off with the Target credit card, but every penny saved counts. Also, recently I scheduled an early morning flight for departure and on the last night stayed at the MCO Hyatt - it was much cheaper than a even a value room at Disney and provided for a stress free morning, while allowing my family a great last day at Disney.

      Love it!!! That 5% adds up for sure. And that’s such a great idea to stay at the MCO Hyatt on your last night!

    Sleepy Hollow, for the spicy chicken waffle is our go to. The corn dogs are awesome as well. We get bank points on all our purchases that we can put towards gift cards for Walmart. We rent a car and go to Walmart for all drinks so we never buy in the park. Also you can get your snacks and breakfast stuff there.

    So I’m a single mom. On a budget trip I took my son, and my two younger siblings to Disney. Travel resort and tickets ended up costing about 2200. Then I spent maybe an additional 300 on food. We went in January. We did all four parks and typhoon lagoon. Food wouldn’t have costed as much but we had one special meal in each park per day.
    I didn’t have points so we flew Spirit. I know people hate it, but honestly it was simple and only a 2.5 hour flight. The kids carried a school book bag and it had all of their clothes, plus their park bag inside. So there was no need for two carry ons or checked luggage.
    Stayed at pop century for like 98 dollars a night with a deal I found at a third party website. One thing I love to do is take a very early morning flight at like 6 am. Then I’ll make Epcot my first park. On the day we leave I choose the latest flight. So you get an entire extra park day without having to pay for the hotel an extra night.
    My son and I went in May. We stayed 4 days and three nights at two deluxe resorts, did all four parks and it was like 1100. I rented dvc points for AKL and was given a free upgrade for a savannah view. And we stayed at yacht club for a full resort day.

      Hi Remy😊 What 3rd party site did you use for your hotel? I'm trying to find a value resort for next may via 3rd party. Not much luck yet. Thanks 😊

    • @queenblacc4579
      @queenblacc4579 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jayneestrycker8691 it can be hit or miss but I used this website called snaptravel. Those third party sites are risky because they won’t always let you do cancellations and sometimes you don’t know what you’re getting. But the Disney hotels usually work out. Also sometimes just put the name of a resort in Google with the dates and it’ll give you the prices for a bunch of third party websites.

      Thanks Remy, I'll give it a try!😊👍😊

      @@jayneestrycker8691 absolutely! It’s not ideal for like dining reservations and stuff because most of the time, closer you get to the trip, the cheaper it is. But 8 times out of ten I don’t book too far in advance

      This is amazing!!! You took advantage of so many budget tips & tricks! I’ve also used Priceline to book a Disney resort. Using a 3rd party can be hit or miss, but boy… if you find the right deal at the right time, it’s GOLD!!!

      Great tip!! We've looked into utilizing the Disney visa! My husband is in charge of all things credit card related, so I need to bring this up again!

    We split meals all of the time now. We have, luckily, similar taste in food options, and it's usually just too much food for one sitting.

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Splitting meals is the way to go! It even makes table service meals way more doable on a budget 👌🏼

    I always pay with Disney gift cards from Target that I buy with my red card for 5% off. I also load gift cards for food and souvenirs (also parking fees this past trip) and only use those for the trip. Every little bit counts.

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those Target GC’s add up 👌🏼 And I love the idea of preloading gift cards for food, souvenirs, and parking!

    We are going for 10 days in May. We have always had the dining plan but this time, obviously not. My hubs and I are on keto and plan to split meals where we can. Would you be able to do a scenario of 4 adults, 2 rooms? Thanks Bekah😊

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s awesome! And if this is a budget trip, you could potentially save more money not using the DP anyways! So it might work in your favor ☺️ And I’ll be offering something down the road to help give more personalized trip suggestions in a more one-on-one scenario, so stay tuned!

      I've been keto for a while, and I've had a couple of trips to WDW and even Universal, and I was able to find food at every restaurant I visited. Just look at the menus online, and you can see what the restaurants have. I tend to stick with salads (they're usually cheaper), but I've had the kids salmon with green beans at Pop Century, and it was so good! Hugs, Kim

    Sometimes the kids meals at the counter service restaurants can be enough for me, and a bottle of water comes with it (or whatever beverage). I usually order cups of ice water for the meal and save the bottle for later. Hugs, Kim

      @BekahHart  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! I’ve ordered a kids meal several times, and it’s always been more than enough food 🙌🏼

    Edit... others already noted this! But all the repeat comments just endorse that this is a handy tip!
    Capitalize on that 5% Target RedCard discount and get Disney gift cards to pay for everything. You’ll save/get an extra $50 on that $1000 budget! Costco and other big box stores do Disney cards discounted too!

      @BekahHart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does the room charge include parking?

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does not. This is assuming most people are flying and utilizing Disney transportation ☺️
