I've recently found you and I am obsessed. It's so refreshing to see a young pretty child free couple not hating on "kid stuff" and doing all the disney things with such excitement. Someone told my 9 year old daughter at school that pin trading was for "toddlers" and I was like EXXXX-CUSE me?! Since when?! I've binged so many of your videos and it's so refreshing for me to watch. Thank you. ❤
This was really helpful! I’ll be watching again and taking notes. My youngest son is turning 13 in the Fall so we’re doing a mom & son birthday trip. Staying at the Poly for 4 nights. The numbers you shared have helped me get an idea of how much we’ll spend on our trip. Thank you! I’d also love to see a Disney on a budget video.
Thanks so very much for your honesty and transparency in explaining all the costs involved in a deluxe trip. Im actually surprised the dining costs and drink costs were that low as I watched all the trip vlogs and as you mentioned already, you guys definitely let yourselves spoil yourselves a little this trip with nice meals and drinks. I only wish our value trip in November could cost this little, as our flights alone from Australia have cost us $10500 Aud ($7000 Usd). I loved hearing your budget tips you added to this video, and would love an additional budget tips video.
This is the all time best Disney cost breakdown video I’ve ever seen! Fully transparency, genuinely helpful tips to budget and highlighting the luxe side to Disney World!!! Love love love this whole video 💛
this is so sweet ❤ exactly what I was going for because I don't see people talking about Disney in a deluxe sense and I think it's okay to go to Disney in any price breakdown!!
To be fair, she left out the second most expensive cost to a Disney vacation aside from lodging and that is ticket cost. They have an annual pass but without it, it would have added about $1500+ for two people for the week.
That's a good idea about the Disney cards I never thought of so when you get there you really don't have to worry about spending money cuz you already saved the money for the Disney cards
I totally understand the hesitation in posting these types of videos, but they really are helpful for some people! I see in the comments people have mentioned renting DVC points - we highly recommend this as well! We did it a lot before purchasing our own DVC contract. I also love that you guys had an "all-in/deluxe" trip. We do those and pair them with value trips every once in a while too. It is SO awesome that you got upgraded to a 1-bedroom!
Thank you soo much for being real about how much you spent. I am family of three adults now so trying to figure this out for our trip. This helped so much
Great video! We are taking our adult children and grandchildren to Disney in March 2025. We were fortunate to buy/rent DVC points to stay at the Poly for a great deal! We’ve done lots of different budget friendly trips over the years especially when our kids were younger. I love how you broke down your costs. There are some non negotiable things, but you have to decide what those are before you go. ❤
I was surprised that it wasn't more when you explained that it was a full out deluxe trip....but then also realized that it didn't include park tickets because you're AP holders. But my budget for genie and Uber and food etc is right around where you were so I know we can make my budget work!! Thanks for the breakdown
Love the tips and the explanation about the prices. I went for the first time for just one week last year with a friend of mine and did Disney+Universal and did it on a Budget. I'm planning on taking my eldest nephew in a few years, and I'm trying to think on a way to do it more affordable but also enjoy some little luxuries.
Just starting the video but really appreciate the price transparency! Would love to see breakdowns of other Disney trips to help get an idea of other price points
That is actually not too bad for a week at WDW. I mean granted like you said at the beginning you could have probably saved maybe $500 or more if you didn’t do a sit down service restaurant. I’m a Canadian and for me for that price in CAD dollars would be at least $6,000 or $6,300 based on the exchange rate. It’s good to know that you paid cash for your trip and that you planned and saved for it knowing that you will not go into debt for a weeks worth of fun - kudos to you !!
I love this video and how transparent you are! I just wanna say in addition to what great people you and Cory are, my boyfriend and I are WDW adults with similar background as y’all (no kids), and your videos are super helpful when we need to plan our trips. I love whatever content you put out, but I would love to see a return of y’all doing the Disney date at home and relating some at home activities/food to disney related things ❤
I would love some more budget friendly ideas and tricks for two adults in Disney for a week… I’m planning one for hubby and I to go and everything is so complicated now lol… so I’m watching videos on ppl who have gone recently to get some ideas 😊 great video I very much appreciated the breakdowns on each category.
Another money saving tip, ice water is free at quick service locations, a fountain soda can cost you around $5+, so, usually if we eat quick service, we'll get ice water and maybe 1 large drink to share. There are also some quick service restaurants with very large portions, these can be split
If they still offer it, the Flametree BBQ in Animal Kingdom has a sampler plate that is HUGE, we shared that between 2 people easy. Blaze fast fired pizza, you can share a pizza and garlic knots and save $$$, there too
Oh & if your a DVC member, they don't charge you a grocery holding fee (at least I have never been charged 1 and I had groceries delivered just last September)
$114.61 for popcorn and waters? When we do our grocery order we have a big package of bottled water and bring them with us to the parks, if you're a big soda drinker, order them too. They will give you free ice in the park if your drinks get warm in your park bag so no worries and save you $$$
@@sade66119 and we love filling popcorn and we bought a new bucket, but Cory also doesn't love the taste of water and in the parks we don't like lugging large bottles of water but awesome money saving tips here!
I enjoyed this video I’m saving to take myself and my son to disneyworld we have both never been and I want to go all out so I thought this video was so helpful
My best advice I can offer, we go 4 to 5 times a year and DVC was our best investment. We would always stay deluxe usually on the monorail or Club Level at the resorts on Crescent Lake near Epcot. We have 4 resorts all direct through Disney so we have member benefits. We own Boardwalk, Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Tower and our newest Riviera. Y’all should definitely check into it.
We are DVC as well. Disney "got us" when they upgraded us from Caribbean to Animal Kingdom Lodge a few years ago. After the AKL stay we started to do deluxes only and finally took the DVC plunge a couple of years ago. We own at Saratoga, but will have stayed everywhere except for Old Key West by the end of 2023.
I would love to see a budget-friendly video! I think many people (at least in my neck of the woods) see a Disney trip as an impossible expense, but I’m beginning to see that it doesn’t have to be. I have made a proposed budget for a “someday Disney trip,” and you mentioned some things that I hadn’t thought of, like coffee and airport snacks, so thank you for this video!
❤❤❤ the video, we just got back from a May trip to Disney and a cruise on the Disney Wish. This was definitely our deluxe trip, but we also do budget trips. Being a new pass holder is definitely a plus with the discounts. You did a great job on your breakdown of expenses. We always Uber from the airport and back, much quicker than the buses. I would love to see a video on budgeting tips.
I’ve never been to WDW and I’m trying to plan to go at the end of November and I’m going by myself. A video on how to go to WDW on a budget would be the most AMAZING thing ever!! I absolutely love your videos!!!❤❤
Thank you for your transparency!! I thought the grand total was going to be $10,000 🤣 By the end of the video I felt like your grand total was a steal haha
We do adult only all out trips too - the past 2 years we have gone for 10 days staying at POFQ and did big dinners and lunches everyday We spent about $8600 each time We are doing AKL this summer for 4 nights 5 days and we are so excited to do a more resort focused trip
Budget tip now that you are AP holders.....buy your bottled water and soda from the stores in the park, not at the kiosks. You'll get an AP discount in the stores.
I just checked the money I spent on the resort 5 days of Disney parks and I preferred room at all star movies was 2,371.44 and that don't include the flight all the transportation from Mears connect so my flight just for me I'm taking this trip solo because I need this trip I am retired my daughter is a single parent I'm helping her raise 2 year old grandson she's a single parent and she works third shift and my flight what's 369.45 and $32 for The mears connect so that wasn't bad for two people and all the stuff you did
I am going to Disney in May for staying at All-Star movies Resort seven nights 5-day Park pass and no hopping pass in the flight and transportation mears and I also got a preferred room so just for that 2477,93 and that's just for that I got to buy my food I'm planning on to I'm planning on one character meal in 1 table service and all the rest quick service so what you spent wasn't bad cost me $2,4 77.93 utmost close to what you spent books from AAA after I booked it I could have done it booked it on my own and I think next time I'll be booking all this stuff on my own almost 63 years old and I noticed the prices went up from last year so I want to go before they go up again and I like to have one drink I don't drink that much but when I'm on vacation I like to have one drink I have one drink with dinner so it's going to cost me when I get there I would say over a thousand 1,000,00
This was in no way an affordable vacation I have a trip planned for June 2024 with airfare a 3 night stay meal plan for 3 days (no choice) a Cinderella castle lunch2 other restaurants car rental Disney Magic bands no shopping added weight going back I'm in around 3700$ everything is beyond a premium price and is designed to take every last dime from your account if it could god Forbid you come with a massive family just tickets hotel stay and just the meal plan was 1968.34 by itself its def. A 1 and done for me mind you all this was a basic package
Disney can be really expensive and we knew that this particular trip last year was going to be a more pricey one because we wanted to treat ourselves. enjoy your trip!

This was the BEST cost breakdown video I've seen! We're planing a splurge trip too and this video was so relatable. Love the transparency.
thank you so much - this means a lot!!
This was so helpful and not as bad as I expected honestly! Would also love to see a budget-friendly trip to compare and take the best of both!
such a great idea! we are hoping to do a more budget friendly trip this year so it will be a good comparison
To be fair, she left out the second most expensive cost to a Disney vacation aside from lodging and that is ticket cost. They have an annual pass but without it, it would have added about $1500+ for two people for the week.

hopefully in the fall!
not a Brianna video if the resort mug isn't mentioned
got that right!!
Disney money isn’t the same as real life money! 🤪 have you considered renting dvc points? It’s so much cheaper
