Im only going to buy a generator that you’ve done a repair on to show me how to service it. As it’s too costly to wait for a repair man as I can’t work without it.So thank you so much for doing this.

Did you manage to get the spark arrestor out to clean it? It was stuck inside the muffler on my EF2000IS.
you have to take both blue covers out and take off the black covers around the engine so you can see it drop in there
@@TheDingdong78I did remove the black cover where the exhaust is. I got the muffler screen of the exhaust however the arrestor is stuck
@@petersmit6507 you mean the built in alternator stuck?..can you still turn the engine?
@@TheDingdong78 If you look at the "muffler screen and spark arrester" section in the owners manual, it's part number 4 that is stuck in the muffler.
Those yamaha generators need a little under 500ml of oil, theyre full when the oil has reached the top of the plug threads.
