Hey Craig, thanks for the comment! You're right, whenever i get it out this spring, I'm going to run some Berryman's B-12 through it. Also, i started running ethanol-free gas in it. That has helped the carbs out quite a bit.
You were sleepwalking. You were not prepared, and did not react. If they hadn't stopped, you would be toast. Learn to cover the brake, your front end should have been slamming down when they entered your space but "nada". You would have hit at full speed. Practice emergency braking (gradually, then harder and harder) at least once a week. If you go on faith that others will always see you, or respect your right of way, you give them control. Also no gloves????? going down you would be hamburger and that is 100% preventable.
looks like the low idle is a bit rough . might run some carb cleaner through it .. or take carbs off and clean .. little rough sounding
i have same bike . i know how mine sounds
also i like to run synthetic oil in mine ..runs, shifts alot smoother .. they have a kind for wet clutches
