It was written with an intent of part 1 of two part origin of Superman. Part 2 wasn't made , instead they went for BvS. Things feel rushed in both movies with little character growth. Superman's stories are all about his character.
tbh that batman's warehouse fighting scene was so damn comic accurate and can never be get replaced and imo that warehouse fighting scene was much better than the fighting scenes of bale's batman and I think most will agree to this.

I think a Superman movie is hard to make, unless there is another big DC characters. For a character so powerful, 2 hours movie seems a lot.
