This place is modern, turn-of-the-last-century retro, other-worldly, classic, and oozing with stunning grandeur. It is like something from out of a magnificent dream.
This video is a fantastic voyage through the Mayan Revival Architecture proposed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Wow, spectacular!
Drove past it on our "last trip before kids" in 1994.
We've lived in Wisconsin all our lives, home of FLW and are fans of his work. Have seen and toured many of his works! We are lucky enough to have many in Wisconsin. We've recently moved to Madison, the capital.
It's a mid-century architectural mecca with buildings and homes from the very early 1900's all in beautiful neighborhoods. FUN!
And we finally toured Falling Water! If you ever are interested in going, make sure you tour his Kentuck Nob near by! You can comfortably do both in one day. Fabulous site and setting! Make sure you walk the WHOLE property! Big time sculptures!
I would hardly call it a "fly By", that was fantastic. Especially the compressed sun angle changes, Wow !

I finally got to go inside this house last year, and what a beauty it is.
Such a beautiful video, thank you. Wright was never on the premises, I think he never even went to California. Allegedly he believed the temperature there was always warm, which it isn't. You have to walk outside the house to get to the bedroom.
I love the music too reminds me of the TV series Fringe

Fun fact: I led groups into the house it's opening day after restoration. It's was cool to be behind the scenes and explore parts of the house no one else had access to.

The camera panning and music made me think of Game of Thrones. Add in the Greek/Roman style of the place and it wasn't really had to imagine the Targaryans' or the Lannisters' or the Tyrells' walking along the hallways while discussing the next wedding or something.
sorry it's mayan(sp) revival...he looked to the south and the people who commuted and migrated this part of the world....years ago

well, spend 6 years doing an architecture degree, like I did. Architecture isn't in the hands of the so-called elite, its something you work for and earn.
This is basically Meereen Pyramids.
Looks like an indian temple.
