Fun fact, the word قيامة (Qiyamah) comes from the same root word as يقوم (yaqoom), which means to stand. The root word of both is قام (qaama). This is referring to the fact that we will all stand in front of Allah to get our deeds in this life judged.
Some more semantics: قيام (qiyaam), without the ta marbuta (ة -> this little thingy) means standing, and night prayer is called qiyaam al layl, because you stand for a portion of the night in prayer.

(on the Day their tongues, hands, and feet will testify against them for what they used to do.) Surah Noor verse 24. So in the day of judgment god will ask us about our action. And our own body organs will tell on us if we sinned. So everyone is their own witness.

The verse speaking about "Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness." Is because on the day of judgement your body parts will testify either with or against you, same with your heart will say what you really mean not you trying to lie/excuse yourself with your mouth.
Rather man against himself will be a witness. His arms will talk about what they did or what they hit, His legs will talk, His eyes will talk about what he looked at etc

Yes it's soooooo beautiful. Nothing is like lt. If you want God to talk to you every day, just read some verses every day. You will always hear a massage that you need in the right moment. Its a rememberne of who we are. Coz some times we forget, and when we forget we become worried and depressed🙏🏼

All that because we all and all our bodies belong to Allah and no one and even no part of us could deny

Brother I am muslim, but now I am scared to listen to this Surah it's very hard for us to hear this we are too sinful
3:46 "man against himself will be a witness" - your mouth will be shut because it lies. Your other body parts will speak what deeds you have done. Your eyes, what you have seen. Your legs, where you have went. Etc
Our hands and feet will speak on the day of judgement.

The Muslim should not depend on himself, but should pray to God to remain steadfast in Islam until he dies because this time is the time of strife
The Part where it says that Man will be a Witness against himself, it means that Our Body will speak.
For eg: God will tell us That We hurt a Dog on this day . We will say No we didn't or it wasn't us we'll make excuses in fear. Than God Will Command our Mouth to be Unable to speak, Than Our Hands will be told to Speak and They will Admit yes Ya allah we did it.
Its all written in the Qur'an, man will say why are You Witnessing against Yourself (Me) . They will say, we were commanded By the almighty to do so.
Thats what that verse means, It may have other meanings also, But This one is The most Dominant of them.
We Will be witness against our selves because we willingly took this test.

A persons body will speak the truth when he is lying on the day of judgement.. his own body will be a witness to his actions
The reason a person will be a witness against himself is beacuse the soul will be seperated from this body. Thereby the body will testify against the soul that was driving it to sins.
In this life the two are united so we are soul + body. WE identify as this combination but precieve only the corporeal nature.

Salam to you.. This Surah Al-Qiyaamah is related to Matthew #24.. What is meant by the human being who will be A Witness to himself is the occurrence of 'an extraordinary mutation' on himself so that he is no longer a human being but transformed into a new being or creature.. At the time that any reason he stated because there was a change in him would not be accepted even the people who saw that knew he belonged to Satan who was the result of a combination of jinn & human.. This is the form of disaster that Daniel said forced 'the survivors' to flee themselves to mountain peaks, caves, wilderness & remote areas.. At that time, if you survive then don't go home, just go to a place far away from the chaos that shakes the world & nothing can you do other than think about your own fate.. On that day, if you die in a state of faith then you will be resurrected to Heaven & can see God in 'real form', insha'Allah..

In my view, "witness against himself" means that someone takes bad action and he/she already know it's doing haraam. He/she doesn't believe in Allah and Last Day of Judgement so they continue committee sins. Any bad group would be doing bad things and they will face last day of judgement even against themselves because of what they did.
Al qiyaamah (not Al qiyamaah)
_"being witness against yourself"_ means you will be asked, for instance : _"in your lifetime on Earth, what did you use your eyes for?"._
normally you'd answer : _" i have use my eyes to see only good things. to read the scriptures You have bestowed us, my Lord.",_
but then instantly after that, your eyes will be given ability to talk. to either corrobate or deny your testimony. while your mouth was sealed.
thus you'd be in trouble if your eyes says :
_"my Lord, this guy's spent most of his time watching p0rns. he did indeed read Holy scriptures for couple of hours. continued by binge watching obscene materials for 3 days straight."_
