Hey! I'm trying to find the best reed for the flexibility for a jazz Clarinet. Recently, I used a Rico 3 to get the bright Clarinet sound my director wanted, and that was fine. However, I really would like to find a vandoren equivalent Because let's be honest, we all know vandorens are made better. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! PS, this video was really helpful, and is pushing me to try out the V21's for concert band
We're happy this video was helpful. We would suggest trying the V21, 56 rue Lepic, and V12 reeds. To try all 3 of them, you can look for our "mix" card that gives you the ability to try each style of reed without purchasing an entire box. www.dansr.com/vandoren/products/reeds/clarinet/b-flat/clarinet-mix-cards
