Good update per usual! Love that Engulfed and I'm pleasantly surprised with the new Blood Incantation, they successfully blended psychedelic rock influences into their death metal. I'm with you on Wormwitch, but I still didn't check out their self titled so I'll have to get on that.
Yeah man, I absolutely love Absolute Elsewhere - one of several AOTY contenders for me. Also, this video was a great reminder to go and finally check out Engulfed. I always look forward to your collection updates, Patrick. Cheers! 🍻 🤘🏼
The Blood Incantation album is head and shoulders above pretty much everything else that has come out this year. And whilst some may argue that it has been a really strong year for metal, I think that probably has more to do with the fact that the market that has been flooded with so many new releases, rather than much in the way of groundbreaking quality. Don’t get me wrong, some solid releases have come out. But when we look back on 2024, it will more than likely be remembered more for Absolute Elsewhere than anything else.
Hey Jeremy. I totally agree. I'm making my top 40 albums of the year list, soon, and also top 40 death metal lps of the decade...so far lists, and I believe 2023 was a better year than 2024, and BI takes it this year for sure, unless something mind blowing comes out between now and 1/1/25. It certainly is the biggest release of the metal underground and I can even see it being a gateway for people, in many directions. Thanks for watching!
Cool stuff as usual. I am passing on the Blood Incantation. I like Pink Floyd and I like Morbid Angel, just not served in the same plate. May change my mind later but not so far. Cheers Amigo 😊
@@Metalminersmusicsounds like you are resisting because you are afraid of actually liking it? Open your mind dude. Both bands are still death metal at their core.
@@jeremyfaulkner1048 I have listened to both. I’ll probably buy the Tomb Mold at some point and maybe even the Blood Incantation. I am open minded and it’s no doubt wonderful music, just not what I enjoy (now). Make no mistake, the musicianship is exceptional on both albums I just prefer the older stuff.
Always am a Bulldozer fan..🤘 Nice collection you share ....Hails🔥
Gotta check out Blood Incantation..thanks

Thanks for introducing me to Wormwitch, I am fairly new to BM (coming from metalcore/deathcore) and I was looking for something like this!
Right on! Glad you enjoy it.

Much appreciated, Nate!

Looking forward to seeing those lists!
Super solid adds!
That Evulsed EP is really good, the title track my personal favourite. Your local store must be pretty good if they had that in stock!
Hey! Yeah, it grows on me every listen. My local store rules. They take in used vinyl a lot, and that was a recent trade in, I think.
hot damn . i like
