I know the upcoming Blue Beetle movie will have Jaime as the lead, but Ted still needs to play a prominent role.
it would probably be a hank pym/scott lang situation but probably more tragic
As long as his role isn't like in Young Justice, where you never see him because he died before they met

The comics should bring Ted Kord back so Jamie has a mentor and someone tech savy to help him when the scarab acts up.
They did that in DC Rebirth.
