Apparently it has more noise than the P2 Pro, a bit lower precision, and a smaller FOV, which one would you recommemd for an beginner in DIY? the price is the same (p2 pro with macro, and t2s plus)
    Can you dona comparison please?

Do you recommend this over the P2 Pro? How does the image quality fair between them? I was wondering If I should go with this instead of a P2 Pro (which apparently has a better quality)

i have a flir pro (android), but this model seems alot better with that focus option, higher resolutions (160x120 vs 256x192) and the price is even better. thanks for the review, i would nt of guess infrared camera have gotten better and cheaper during these electronic shortage time.

Wait until you get your infiray for android and the second you realise that it is not compliant with your device and nothing works, nothing at all.
3 phones not working, 2 x xiaomi and the 3rd is a Redmi Note - but all tablets are running fine with the cam, but unfortunatelly far too clumsy at 13 inch and 10 inch - at least on top of a roof of a solar power system.

Strap a smartphone with this thermal camera on 7" quadcopter and there you go

I wonder if connector is the only difference between android and ios versions? What if I wanted to use it on iPad pro with USB-c, which version would work(lightning with adapter cable maybe)? It would be interesting to know that if/when Apple release USB-c iPhone.

DO NOT BUY, if you are not absolutly sure that your android phone will be supported.
Had bought one incl. lens and it did not work at all with 2 xiaomi phones and infiray offers no support nor list which phone will be supported.
Yes, it works with the 12 inch Samsung tablet I have but it is useless to use a tablet to make pictures, hard to hold.
Also the cheap 10inch tablet from 2020 or so with keyboard is working with the camera except the picture is upside down and the software does not allow a change.
At the END: DO NOT BUY EXCEPT FROM AMAZON WHERE YOU ARE ABLE TO RETURN IT - AGAIN, even cheap black friday deals will not help you if the camera is not working at all, no picture, not even an error or anything, also no support from the manufacturer, so I gave up with infiray at least for now. I have a newer redmi Note 12 from 2023 and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 from 2019 and another from 2023, all not working with the infiray camera.
I know you are an iphone guy and you are not able to judge about android, but it is an important point in the sales period to know that DO NOT BUY message cause you might get a product from china with no option as full return and refund.
I was totally disappointed cause I have issues to solve or investigate with a big solar array where a thermal cam would be a good solution or at least supporter , but for sure not with a 12 inch Samsung tablet only.
