Great review and looks like a nice tool to add to the tool box!

Do you recommend the T2S Plus over the P2 Pro? I've read that the P2 Pro has an apparently better image quality and lower noise level or something like that. But it doesn't have an adjustable lens.
I'm not sure why but I feel like all of them use the same internal sensor, because most of the specs seem similar.
Could you make a comparison, or do you recommend one over the other one? I mainly want to do PCB inspection, and use it indoors mostly, outdoors I would like to do some basic home insulation checks.
I can't decide, do you have any comparison videos between them and can recommend one over the other? :(

I am hoping someone can confirm the use of such a camera to find moles/voles in my yard? What I don't know is if the dirt would insulate the moles body heat?

Yes, a thermal camera can be used to detect moles or voles in your yard, but its effectiveness depends on a few factors, including the depth at which the animals are burrowing and the type of soil.
      How Thermal Cameras Work:
Thermal cameras detect heat (infrared radiation) emitted by objects. Warm-blooded animals like moles and voles emit body heat, which can create a temperature difference detectable by a thermal camera.
      Factors to Consider:
Depth of Burrows: If moles or voles are burrowing close to the surface, a thermal camera may detect the heat signature. However, if they are burrowing deep, the soil could insulate their body heat, making it more challenging to detect them.
Soil Type and Moisture: Different types of soil have varying thermal conductivity. Wet soil can conduct heat better than dry soil, potentially making it easier for a thermal camera to pick up the heat signature. On the other hand, dry, loose soil might insulate the heat more effectively, reducing the chances of detection.
Environmental Conditions: The time of day and weather conditions can also impact detection. For example, in the early morning or late evening, when the ground surface cools down, the contrast between the animal's body heat and the surrounding environment may be more pronounced, making it easier to detect with a thermal camera.
While it's possible to use a thermal camera to detect moles or voles, success will vary based on the depth of their tunnels, soil conditions, and environmental factors. If the animals are close to the surface, and the soil doesn't heavily insulate their heat, you might be able to spot them with a thermal camera.

Thanks to your opinion in reviews, which has information on a high level, i bought the same camera module for my personal use. It's so useful to have Different focus to choose. The quality of image is more than just acceptable, it's very good. I wish the application would work a bit better, but it is also have done on a good level.
I am glad that I choose T2S+ than any other camera without manual focus.

    What temp range is safe?

    • @cleanunbox
      @cleanunbox  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

The T2S+ can measure up to 550 celsius so i assume a +20% on top of that will still be safe

With the Paid app of RuneHansen which is better than QianLi app, even with the 90 usd it cost for lifetime license you are lower in price than the QianLi kit and you also have more flexibility in usage. :)
