Can I ask what the best seat position, tyres, gears etc are for the beach? We tried Yarmouth beach which is very soft dry sand with my husbands GTE and kept getting the C1 error code for too much torque on the motors. We tried Brighton beach which is shingle and the tyres spun and sunk in. We desperately want to do the beach but think it might need some practice and know how.
I would think you’re best off in a semi upright position with the camber on ‘lean’. Smooth tyres work best in sand Suggest to your husband that he tries not to turn too tightly and if he has any core strength, to sit forward to get the back wheel out of the sand when it’s stuck Unfortunately most things with wheels will struggle over shingles as they slip beneath the tyres so no purchase possible. Think about it like a bicycle … if you can cycle it your GTE should manage it. Hope this helps
Hi. We ship chairs all around the world. The powered GTE starts at £9795 and you can see the full details and optional extra pricelist on our website. Also it’s always worth contacting us so we can chat/message about your disability and what you want the chair to do for you.
Hi. so very sorry we’ve not responded previously but have only just seen your message . And I’m afraid I’m not going to be able to give you a definitive answer as so much depends on weight and terrain. We estimate you should get 3 1/2 to 5 hours continuous use but I’m afraid I can’t quote a distance
@@BeyondTheBoundaryWheelchairs ??? So you have never tested the distance travelled from a full charge? You are the first to say hours of use rather than distance. Seems like your trying to hide something using salesmen tactics. Not good.
I’m so sorry you feel that way Chris and I can assure you that I’m not trying to hide anything. Our customer satisfaction is so much more important than a ‘bad sale’ I hope you appreciate that if it went to X Miles on the beach on a full charge it would do XX+ miles on the pavement and maybe X+ in the woods but that would depend on the season and the terrain

@@bbw2927 All I'm asking for is an honest average miles per full charge like all other companies give. I don't believe you have not done this.
Chris Stevens I have spoken to the factory and been told it’s approximately 10 miles. Hope this helps
