There’s a “thing” in the RAT’s midrange that I just can’t get enough of. I use the YOU DIRTY RAT, it has the same frequency focus, but it has a little more compression and, dare I say, “grind.”
Awesome, such a killer amp and can't go wrong with those three pedals. I love Orange, but my only small gripe with (the rockerverb mostly) is that they don't always play nicely with other pedals like stacked fuzz sometimes. Sounds great though :)

Highly considering purchasing a DT, as the tones Ive heard from this video and others have got me thinking I can be a doom god. Otherwise, are you sending the torpedo straight into an interface or cabinet of some kind? I need these tones but don't really need a cab. Appreciate the vid and keep up the killer tone demos 🤘
Can I ask what are you using as a speaker after the twonotes? I wonder if I could just play it through some active 5” Edifier speakers using the twonotes as well.
l've considered getting one to replace my Super crush 100. But with 15w I'm not sure how it would keep up live with a very loud drummer, especially tuned to Drop A

Thanks, congrats on the or15! For me, fuzz and distortion pedals into the dark terror only sound good with the amp gain on max. otherwise it gets weird and compressed. the exception being the dopesmoker tone, but then the master volume needs to go way up.
Can you tell me what exactly the Two Notes Torpedo is for? I know it's a Cab Sim in a pedal format, but does it allow you to take this rig and plug it directly into an audio interface without a separate cab? I'm trying to make a silent practice, jamming & recording setup. My Boss Katana works but the cab sim from it's Line Out is kinda lacking in my opinion.
What you are talking about is the Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. M+ Speaker Sim. That is the pedal format speaker sim, with it you still need a cab. The Torpedo Captor that i am using is a reactive load box, like the Universal Audio OX for example. This device soaks up all the power like a cab would. So you dont need to plug in your cab at all, just amp, load box, audio interface. But this device is mostly for tube amps. Its kind of pointless if you have a SS amp like the Katana, because the amp sounds the same at all volumes, I've used my Orange crush pro 120 with the Torpedo and the power amp does add coloration, but its almost the same as using the preamp fx out. But with a tube amp you can crank the amp completely to have power amp distortion, and have it completely silent. Like the dopesmoker tone in this video. That is the Dark Terror almost cranked, that would have been insanely loud for my apartment, but it was completely silent. All you need is to use an IR in your DAW, and you're good to go!
I have a micro dark a rat ,boss sd1,sf300 and a joyo eq. I get some awesome tones it would be cool to see you do this with the micro dark it's sludgy as fuck!

surprised that the rockerverb doesn't take fuzzes well. always thought it was fuzz friendly

i have presonus eris 3.5 speakers. sounds really good with the right IRs. i sometimes jam through them with irs instead of my cab.
