Rae,I love all your new releases. I had a friend who passed away whose nick name was Pringle-she got the name in college, way before Pringles were a potato chip. Her maiden name had “pring” within it, so I must stitch your sampler in her memory💕 Also, congratulations on your position with the school-you are a perfect person for that job and I’m glad you were able to do it for the school system. It was wonderful of you to fill in where you were needed most.
Love all the new releases for the Nashville market. I met you last year at the retreat in Iowa and really enjoyed your presentation. Thank you for sharing your samplers, and I enjoy the smaller ones.
Fun new samplers coming our way from you!!! I am so glad we have the memory of Jean Lea and Sampler Symposium. So very special and it was lovely to see you there
Beautiful offerings for this market. Love hearing the back stories. I used to work in and around the Wichita area in LTC and was able to visit a few stitch and quilt shops, especially enjoyed Newton. Take care.
Love your new samplers, I’m going for those little red chairs. I perked up when you said you were in a school district north of Wichita. I lived in Whitewater and Wichita for quite a few years and my sister and parents lived in Hesston, and my other sister still lives in Wichita. We’ve retired in Durango, CO but still visit Kansas. Sorry to see the crossstitch shop close in Wichita, I always visited.
Lovely presentation. Love all your new designs. I was at Hobby House last year and plan to do your sampler in memory of my grandfather who was born in 1894. See you later this year at Useful Work.
So glad to have you back sharing your treasures with us. My favorite part of your videos is the little bit of history on the stitcher. I am fairly new to x stitch but love samplers and as I stitch I remember what you told us about the original stitcher and I almost feel I know them. Thank you for sharing
Those tips were fabulous! I have missed those. I love Kitty Drabble. I would agree that she was likely mentally handicapped. I had a sister who lived to 46 years of age (after they guessed that she might live to be 5 !) and she was mentally handicapped and could never have lived alone, so that chart hits home. My sister could not have done anything like Kitty did but that is a precious sampler.
I had to laugh at Ada May Pringle because my Paternal Grandmother’s name is Ada May (Cane) and she didn’t like her name and went by May. Enjoyed seeing your new patterns and hearing what you’ve learned about them!

So glad you are back. I love your two red chairs sampler. It is beautiful. They are all great. I, too, enjoy your tips for the cell phone.

I wonder if Kitty’s 2 empty chairs represented her parents who were gone? Really like that piece!
