I can relate to exactly what you guys are talking about. Being in the military does the same thing with the decision overload that exhausts your mind body and soul. Please don't forget to just take a day or two or whatever you need for you guys. A day or two can make a huge difference. Love yall and thank you for all the hard work, discipline and dedication. We all owe you.
Thank you so much for the compliments. We appreciate them, and will be reading this over and over to remind ourselves of this amazing community. Cheers 🙏🏼
Great work guys. The Chinook grabbed me, but it was your stories and cinematography that keeps me coming back . Planning to take similar trip when i retire in 3 years. Keep it up. Loving what you guys are doing.
Amazing, thank you so much for being here with us. 🙏🏼
Although i do love that truck of yours and ive been around since your birfield experiences i have grown to love both of you. You're doing an amazing job and i look forward to every installment of your journey. Stay safe, stay blessed and stay humble. It truly is what makes you two special.
A true OG. Thank you so much for being here from the beginning. We appreciate the compliment 🙏🏼
I’m amazed by all you have done, beautiful storytelling. Love it!
You guys are the real deal, I love what you do. Miss an upload or two... you'll be okay, keep your sanity and creative spirit alive and not be buried by the burden of always producing. Love ya!
Thank you so much, we appreciate this🙏🏼
And here I thought all this stuff just happened spontaneously! 😂🤣😂😁
I think that driving an old/newish hybridized Frankenstein of a vehicle that you built is kinda the point. Anybody can drive a vehicle to the tip of South America... not just anyone builds one and then does it... and then there is the love of classic Toyota 4 by's. The trip the documentation is an incredible feat, but that all began with the love of Toyota's.
Haha we love this. And we love this journey. Thank you so much for commenting and being here with us. 🙏🏼
Bless you dear ones for pouring your hearts out about what happens behind the scenes. I love your invincible spirit to carry on. May faith, strength and love always be at your side on your amazing journey!
Thank you so much for being here 🙏🏼
hey guys, we're following your adventure since the construction of your truck: AMAZING WORK
Thank you so much for the comment! We appreciate it. Cheers 🙏🏼
It seems like there is always one word, or phase, that defines a feeling for me in each video. In this one, it was "small miracle". Some may also call it serendipity, fate, karma or a blessing, but regardless of the term one would use, it is those special, yet unexpected, out of the blue, occurrences that truly make life worth living.
Life is also like a radio that must be properly tuned to the right channel to hear that great song, or announcement of some upcoming event. Tune your life to the proper channel and you'll be surprised how many special moments are in any given day.
Keep up the hard work guys and enjoy those special moments.
That is a beautiful and perfect metaphor with the radios. You can drive right through and place and see all of it, or nothing, depending on your station. So glad you found our frequency Phil. We met some more folks recently from NC, Asheville I think. We're gathering more reasons to visit the East Coast!
Yet again blown away. I have been planning a long time to
Do this as you guys have. Seeing the real ness
About video
Edits etc. I’ve
Traveled a lot and one thing I always have an issues with is feeling no purpose. Seeing and
Feeling what you guys share and being raw and vulnerable is a magical
Gift I don’t take
For granted. Thank you see you down there soon
We’re happy to hear this resonated with you. We’re always happy to inspire!
Me and sure the rest of you viewers appreciate and enjoy your amazing videos. I could imagine all the hard work you put into making your episodes with great editing and commentaries. They keep me and my girl glued to the tv. I get tired and frustrated just trying to upload our small ventures on Instagram stories. Haha
You guys are on a whole different top epic level.
We need to read more comments like this daily. Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙏🏼
Very interesting to hear what goes on behind the scenes every day, thank you for all the hard work and making this awesome content that you do!
Thank you so much for being here with us!
Thanks for sharing the “behind the scenes” bits of long term travel.
Thank you for watching!
WOW... Thank you guys. I feel privileged to get a bit of an insite to who you are and what this trip is to you guys. Your cinematography is AMAZING your story telling is AWESOME!!
I pray for your safety as you bring us along on the journey.
God's speed.
Thank you so much for the compliment. We appreciate you being here with us!
Definitely making memories and living through the experiences of what this life can offer. What a better way to make a living in this 21st century. ❤ what a chapter of ur life 🙌🏽 thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
Yes!!🙌🏻
I hope I don't embarrass you both, but God I love you both so much! I'm so so proud of you, I miss you, and I think what you're doing is amazing 🥰❤️🙏❤️
No embarrassment here! Missing you everyday!!
This was a good point of view. I get so caught up in watching your videos, and seeing all of the places that you go, and the fun that you two have, but I think we often forget that it’s your job. It’s not just for a fun time.
I got to say I came into the Chinook trip in about the Panama area, and I fell in love with your videos. I had to stop and start at the beginning of the build and catch up. You guys have done an awesome job. I love watching you two do your jobs. Keep up the great work.
Oh, and I’m very jealous of that truck!
Wow! We appreciate this so much. Thank you for taking the time to learn our whole story 🙏🏼
It was really cool running into you both today at a ramdom beach in the middle of nowhere. I didn't expect to see any campers down that muddy trail lol! I'm looking forward to catching up on your past videos and following your future videos. I love what you're doing. Enjoy!
It was so rad to meet you! Maybe we will cross paths again one day 🤙🏼
Videos doesnt need to be voice over, cinematic/movie like type thing. Dont get me wrong, i love what you do. Upload like what you do during the day at night etcetera make us feel like we are traveling with you guys! Luv what you guys do!
Thank you for the comment! Cheers 🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing the reality of what it takes to create excellent videos. Keep it up - Your work product is of incredible quality, specially when produced under such adverse conditions.
Thank you so much for watching! We appreciate the compliment 🙏🏼
Well done guys a splendid job your doing awesome inspiring to have watched you slaving away building Sunday then tackling the trip of a life time I can't even drive to another country like you have I'm from Tasmania Australia well done guys
Thank you so much for the comment! It’s pretty crazy for us to look back at what we built and where it has taken us sometimes😂
More people should travel to different countries and embrace different cultures. Love your work! Love your story amazing build and maybe take a “vacation” back home ❤
Thank you so much! A trip home is most definitely in the works.
Enjoy what you are doing and please remember that some of us on the web are watching and wishing we were young again to take on an adventure equal as yours. Stacie keep leading the way. We all love what you took on and are achieving. Can't wait to see whats next. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Thank you so much for the comment. We appreciate it🙏🏼
I love this honest interview. Keep up the good work guys!
We appreciate it!
Great video guys, love the realistic look at behind the scenes. Life on the road can be tough for sure even without the filming and editing consuming so much time! Keep up the amazing work and don’t miss Van isl too much it’s hot and touristy right now anyway!
Thank you so much, Jeff! We miss it lots, but definitely are happy to be missing fire season 🥲
You guys rock, keep on trucking 🤘🏼 And remember Van-island will be here when you get back 😊
Thank you!! We’re excited for our return one day!
You guys are great, thank for sharing that. Believe me, the hard work shows. Take some time for yourselves, you've earned it! All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Your viewers can handle some raw footage of mundane things for a week or three. Love you guys, take care of yourselves. Without you, we wouldnt be here! Aloha.
Thank you so much for the comment. We appreciate it immensely! We are in need of the balance! 🙏🏼 cheers!
Moms believe the world is round so you always end up back at home 🌎. As you know - as always - much love 💖
Love this 🤍
Hello fellow BC peeps! Agreed been in your shoes it’s a lot to do! It’s ok to take a rest here and there otherwise you’re going to burn out and that’s no fun. The best moments are the ones found in the present. Love your content, the narrative is excellent and the drone captures it perfectly! Happy travels 😊🍻
Thank you so much for the compliment! We agree, some of our favourite moments on the trip have been off camera 🙏🏼
I've been following since before you left for Mexico. I really enjoyed this video and feel like I've gotten to know you guys over the course of this adventure. Make sure to take a day here and there for yourselves and rest up and don't worry about filming.
Thank you so much for being here with us from the beginning! And for commenting🙏🏼 cheers!
Love your work
Thank you!
Nice podcast you two. Keep doing what you are doing. Living a dream in eyes for all of us. I pray for safe travel in the chapter of your life's. When you come back to the state i hope y'all go West and meet my club.👍🤠
Thank you so much for the comment! We will absolutely make the trip when we return.

Hey just wondering if in the planning stages if you ever gave any thought to a Toyota Sunrader?
We love the Sunrader, but unfortunately the size deterred us. Knowing the countries we were travelling and their roads, landscape etc. we knew we wanted something smaller and more nimble, and a little more incognito 😂
❤
Does your truck leak around the top front windows or the pop up?
Someone I know has one that leaks like crazy and he has no clue as to how to seal it up.
Thankfully ours is sealed. I would suggest removing the windows and resealing them professionally if it's that bad.
If I understand the cost is that for every minute of video normally you have at least an hour of time going into it. So unlike a person who is twitch streaming their gaming channel. Ypu have the added grist of doing the Circus whilst you are driving somewhere else in the thing you are filming, well I would add another 7 hours to that per minute mix. Be careful about being Jenny from the Block as someone might want to pay you alot of money at some point. If I want you fly you to the Dakar next year I don't expect you to pay for it before hand. Its OK to get paid well or to pay other people fairly for their work, not just me paying X person to fly a drone or edit this. But you are paid more because you add value more than the other people on TH-cam or Instagram. I would bank footage and by all means keep the paetreon running machine going, but don't compromise the quality if you need more time. I would also consider doing what others have done who have to much footage, don't just trim it down to 20 min TH-cam levels, just make a 90 minutes movie and sell tickets at a theatre in their home base. They then used this to pay others to help do a similar Movie promo at a city where their analysitics were or as a way to tie in with an event that you like or that your Sponsor can tie into, if I am your tire sponsor pre selling 200 tickets at a movie theatre at another event is alot easier than helping you in Terra del Fuego.
How are you still getting along? All of this seems very stressful.
It’s easy to get along after you’ve handled the stressful moments together. We get to see and feel so many highs, that the lows just become moments to laugh over.
You are may not be rich but are truly very wealthy!!!! rich people can buy whatever they want, truly wealthy people can do what they want and enjoy what they do.
Love this! Thank you.
Putting your partner\pet first. Your wheels second, and you third. That is how it worked for years with me.
This. 🙌🏻
