Waalaikumussalam Sister. Welcome to Malaysia :) No worries about halal food in Malaysia. If you mistakenly enter non-halal eateries (with hijab), InshaAllah, somebody will tell you. Groceries? Just check the halal logo. Hawker, if the seller with hijab, InshaAllah halal. Just observe first, if Muslim buy at that place. Hope this will help you. Jazakallah.
everything here is perfect so far! still can’t believe i am given a chance to live in malaysia and experience what it feels like to live in a muslim majority county- not worrying abt searching for halal food and prayer rooms. alhamdulillah!! (plus ppl here are so warm-hearted🥺🥺)
You'll do just fine in Malaysia. It's a livable place, quite safe, affordable & Muslim friendly. The next few years will be the best time of your life, just like the time when I flew from Malaysia to USA to further my studies when I was 19.
never in my life I would imagine stay and immersively watch others people vlog tour of my own country 🤣 but here I'm completing 22 minutes of ur vlog. Instantly subscribed cuz I love ur video. Welcome to Malaysia
Welcome to Malaysia kapatid. This is the best place for Filipino muslim who are halal conscious. You can have almost every non halal food here in a halal version , and authority here is very serious in halal food and beverage, medicine, & health supplements regulations.
Salam from another International Student studying in Malaysia, I wish you the best on your future studies and I really hope you have the best time in Malaysia
Just casually open TH-cam and found your video, I like the way you vlogging your journey in Malaysia as a Muslim exchange student! Hope you enjoy your stay in here!❤
the way that I could reminisce n feel my adrenaline rush when I took my first international flight alone by watching this vid. it brings back memories.
Reminds me of my travel to Aklan and Manila, so hard to get halal food. But whenever we found halal it's always Mindanao muslims restaurant. I really enjoy their fish kinilaw. BTW welcome to Malaysia!
One more subs...welcome to Malaysia sister...enjoy your stay here, take it slow and steady...a lot to explore, take your time...I myself enjoyed being with my Filipinos co-workers, they are fun people, but none of them are Muslims, but yet we are so close..hahaha..anyhow, be safe, enjoy your time, don't compare too much between the 2 countries, just cherish the differences...you can ask around, if there are things you are not sure with...respecting how you cared so much on privacy by blurring your face..its all about the stories not too much on the appearance....good luck~
I began to feel that many people visited Malaysia from the animated series Jujutsu Kaisen, but that is my first thought. And I started getting excited too even though it wasn't from the cartoon
I worked there at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.. Level 4 Orange Zone..and I saw my colleague from different store in your video at Family Mart 14:43 . Enjoy your time in Malaysia!
Welcome. I enjoyed this video. You are like a daughter to me. So enjoy the stay. Study hard and stay safe ye. There are several words in Malay influenced by Tagalog. You will easily adapt. Malay and English is almost 1 to 1 translation too though the words arrangement could be reversed.
awww yes i actually researched about similar malay and tagalog words and it is still very interesting for me to know these similarities. thank u for mentioning that i am like a daughter to you🥺🥺 i appreciate your support!
The non-halal foods are usually placed away from most foods as only the people that are looking for them will buy them. Also, most chinese restaurants are non halal. Thats from what I learned and observed.
Keep it up. You doing good, just watched, then you already make us hooked up with your vlog and naratives. And don't hide your Malay look alike face 😂 . be confident . Waiting your next vlog.
Salam sis, if you dont know this already, I would tell you, not all restaurants and foods are halal. We are multireligion countries, so there will be some non halal too. Make sure to read halal labels in packaging, and also halal certificate on restaurants.
I believe in 3 months, you can speak Bahasa Melayu. The tips is, learn easy words like me, you, we, want, eat, hungry happy, sad, like & don't like. Practice this and the others will come easy😂.after 3 months, I bet you will become native 🤣🤣🤣. And hey, welcome to Malaysia 🎉🎉🎉! Have a good experience and hope you enjoy studying and live here😎.
I have a feeling that your biggest problem will be that the locals going to assume that you're a Malay and started speaking to you in Bahasa for obvious reason. Well, you know what to do, right? Need to start learning Bahasa asap ;)
Hope you'll enjoy traveling in Malaysia. Don't worry, most foods in Malaysia are halal. Just spot those who wear songkok, kopiah or hijab enter that restaurant you'll be fine.
